Worth the minutes it took David Petersen to sketch
Oh and I ran into this guy in Baltimore
damn. i wish i had thought of that. i always want to get artists to do sketches, but i never see any prices listed.
The best part of this experience, after he finished he just handed it to me. I asked him how much and said, "Nothing."
David was so cool he did the sketch for free!

My friend that is a sweet setup. I like the display case, nice find.

Ordered one of the Larry's Art of Chew since it's only 200 copies, that should sell out quickly. Hopefully it arrives in good shape.
If it doesn't, give him a call he loves that and has great customer service skillz.

This is my first CGC in ages, I started getting raw comics for a while in hopes to one day get them slabbed myself, because CGC are so pricey.
It's signed by Bendis, I'm actually really happy with it - always was a fan of this cover, and a lot of the Pulse covers. The fact that it's a yellow label makes it even more cooler I think!
I'm a fan of the Pulse as well, I loved the original Alias series (thus my avatar). This book looks awesome Lloyd.

KUDOS to RockMyAmadeus. Top-Notch guy who helped me out with fantastic goodies from IDW's table at SDCC.
This guy is a class act.
I just want to add that Joe did an awesome job with the packing materials and shipping. I would definitely purchase from him again.

Did you guys hear that Tony Moore is going to in Baltimore. Sweet stuff.
My bad, I thought it was Tony. Oh well.
-
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Most of the shops that didn't get their Chew # 1 2nd shipment last week wont have it this week.
Not the case at all....my LCS didn't have them last week, and got about 20 copies of the second print today. Most were 9.2/9.4, but I cherry-picked the best two they had, 9.6/9.8
Can you help a sista out with one of those copies? My LCS didn't get any.
-
Never heard of Fell. Who was the pubisher?
Image... written by Warren Ellis, artwork by Ben Templesmith. Great series. I have all the issues. Been collecting since it was originally released.
Fell
I totally miss the creepy Nixon Nun.
-
Abner,
Love the room man, where did you get the sweet shelving?
-
Not any more
By the time I clicked the link the sale ended.
-
I snagged a couple of copies of issue 2 today, took the last ones off the shelf. My LCS didn't have any of the second print... bummer...
Only 3k copies of the second print? Time to head to another store.
So the writer and artist will be at SDCC... can I get a witness (seriously).
