  1. I saw that one but I thought it was a priced to high, is it?

Is the "Welcome To Lovecraft" #1 the first app or first storyline for Locke & Key? There isn't any notes on the cgc slabs mention first app or anything.

Yes, it is priced outrageously high, that's why I also have the "Make An Offer" option. lol

    You = Awesome

  2. I really didn't want to get into the variant area of L&K..but the king has spoken (worship)

Any one got a nice copy for sale--shoot me a PM (thumbs u

Trouble is IDW is mostly about the variants. But, with L&K they had some pretty great variants. But, save your money too. I'll start up a nice Easter egg hunt for the Locke & Key collectors in a week or so, with the release of my classified collecting files on this title( :gossip: dating back to 2008), Salem wasn't even allowed in. It will send you all scattering, but in a good way(to your LCS).

That is going to be fun. (thumbs u

  3. So anyone know when joe & gab will be at a con together next ?..

They attend few cons, and far between now... Stay tuned to Hill's web page

    www.joehillfiction.com

According to website, next place they will all be together (Hill, Rodriguez and Chris Ryall)

February 9th, 7 – 9 PM , New Dimension Comics, Century III Mall, West Mifflin, PA. Signing.

Right about now the old school Sig Series program would be wonderful. I know CGC isn't sending an employee to a LCS for sigs :sorry:

  4. I feel a group shot is needed from my section of the woods soon too. hm

    DO IT!! DO IT!!!

    :shy:

The Keys To The Kingdom run so far.

...and some other random Joe Hill books.

Swoon worthy. My LCS didn't get any of the RI covers. I've been watching them on the bay but afraid to pull the trigger. People don't ship things as nice as you guys do.

  5. My SS babies! Jerel and I did a lot of blue label for yellow label trading in the beginning. He may regret it now.
The only regret is not being your friend sooner. :foryou:

I remember back in 2008 seeing your eBay name buying a lot of L&K books and panicking about the new sheriff in town. lol

Az alwayz, amazing zet of bookz, Ch3ryl! :)

    Agreed! (worship)

  6. What L & K issue did The Goon appear in old lady-like drag?

Locke & Key Head Games Issue 3

I just hope it does not suck like the cape ...

Is that sam?! You know I've been wondering if tyler has been keeping the key in the same place his father did

My friend The Cape by Joe Hill is a great read. It has nothing and I mean nothing to do with the television show. As for the image, I think Jerel it correct, it's Ben Locke. The knife he's holding is actually a bayonet and the person (head) appears to be a solider, maybe a Red Coat. I can't wait to see where this is going.

  7. You are on fi-yah... FI-YAY!!!(trying to be like the JT and Peyton commercial). lol

    Third Question, hm

In which L & K book did future movie character Ignatius Martin Perrish make his comic debut?

Gabriel Rodriquez was kind enough to supply some illustrations. Once again, I was surprised CGC didn't note it on the label in some way.

  8. OK, time for some trivia...

What is the first and only Locke & Key issue to have it's story interrupted by two pages of ads? Mainly, the ads come at the end of each issue.

Locke & Key Head Games Issue 2

    Ding Ding! Absolutely correct! :applause:

Surprised it wasn't noted on the CGC label even. I remember reading and saying "WTF?"

That would have been a significant note because looking through the other issues I have, none of them have the advertisements positioned like that of L&K Head Games 2.

For the record I loved Dollhouse (boo to Fox for ending this series).

  9. OK, time for some trivia...

What is the first and only Locke & Key issue to have it's story interupted by two pages of ads? Mainly, the ads come at the end of each issue.

OK... I guess I stumped you guys. :(

How about... what was the first regular L & K issue that wasn't embossed or had foil on the cover?

  10. My brother told me that this year he wanted to get me a gift certificate for my comic grading hobby.

He called CGC and spoke with Gemma. (She was very pleasant, as always.)

Anyway, she tells him that they get many calls about this every year, but never have anything to offer.

Why would any business pass up such a great revenue stream? (shrug)

It is nothing but free money now to the business and a certain percentage of people forget and never redeem them. It could only be good for CGC as I see it.

Who here would like to see CGC start up a gift certificate program?

    I know I would.

Chime in and maybe we could make this a reality someday.

Several weeks ago I posted this question in "Ask CGC" forum. It was something I have been thinking about since last year (got crappy gifts from some people). There hasn't been a response yet but I'm hopeful.
