  1. MojoComics, I will too! Joe Hill is an amazing writer and Gabriel Rodriguez is an amazing artist. A lot of times when I'm reading other comics without those guys I find myself feeling like there's just a little something missing. I think I've been spoiled because JH and GR are such a great team. Just like chocolate and peanut butter

Hey synch, I do think that judging the popularity of the keys or the comics themselves by the participation on this board might not be a good idea, since this IS a CGC board and unfortunately it seems like a lot of people just wanted Locke & Key to make them a little money. Did you notice how just about everyone stopped posting here when they found out there wasn't going to be a TV show? (shrug) Kinda sucks because that was right around the time I started posting :( I'm glad the people who stayed are still here, though :)

ComicDiva89: That is one sweet display!!! (thumbs u

I wish the signatures were on the same side as the limitation number, don't you?

Thank you. I haven't purchased Israel's latest keys but I will and then another update will be in order. The Angel and Animal key will look awesome I'm sure.

  2. Thanks to Comicdiva89's wonderful generousity I got to finally read #1 today. I thought it was a great fairy tale setting up so deep rooted mythology that makes me excited to read #2 when it comes out. Thanks Annaka for getting me hooked! :hi:

    My pleasure J.

  3. Does anyone know what the physical difference between the legacy and limited edition keys are? I mean besides the fact that they come with a limited slip and even less are signed. I just found out about them tonight by accident. Also, how are the heft of them? Do they feel nice and heavy? Are they well made? People seem to really love them. They look awesome. I can't wait for the Angel and Undertree/Chain key (one of my favorite designs). I really just want one nice limited edition one (I don't like the look of the Hercules key that much, and that is the only one not sold out.) Thanks for the help guys.

Welcome to the boards. The keys are spectacular. As the difference between limited and legacy, think serial numbered and reprints. The limited editions typically come with a serial number and in short supply, whereas the legacy editions do not have have a limit and will not come with a serial number. Other than that, the quality of both is stellar. I love my collection of Keys and get compliments about them frequently.

  4. Nonplayer 1 still seems to be selling pretty well ($15.00 to 25.00). This is even with the very long delay for the 2nd issue which still has not come out due to the artist recovering from an accident

The comic is just a few extra months late b/c of the bike wreck (its supposed to be out 13 months after the 1st issue), in an interview Simpson indicates that he hopes to release it then and admits that the 2nd issue would have took him about 8 months had he not been injured. I just can't bring myself to follow a title that takes 8 months between issues.

Fixed that for you. Nate was in a biking accident, he broke his collar bone in three places.

  5.

I thought Carl was going to kill Randal in that barn like he did the kid in the comic. lol

I thought the same thing about Carl. I was hoping we were going to see his transformation, that he would finally man up. Oh well. I was shocked to see the ending but not upset, Dale was so annoying.

I'm not impressed with how much they've strayed from the comic but this second portion of season two has picked up. That T-Dogg is some actor.
