I have thought about this as well. I remember a very few times, when I was in my fourth year of Spanish, dreaming in Spanish for part of a night's sleep. But I don't ever remember thinking in Spanish without trying to. And it never happened again after I was done actively studying. English was my mother's second language. She told me that she always thought in Norwegian and spoke in English, but then one day decades later everything changed and she started thinking in English. I often find myself thinking and replying to people in Mandarin. Mentally, I swear in Italian. There's no substitute.

And the cucumber and tomato makes it healthy.

Yes, often, more. I put sriracha and mayo on some burgers I made for a dinner party last weekend. Everyone loved it. I go through one of those bottles every three weeks. The guys in my martial arts class first turned me on to it.

No. I just start them inside. After they sprout I move them into the shade outside before they are transplanted. I'm doing container veggie gardens on the patio this year. I swear, two of those beefsteak tomato plants will feed the entire neighborhood. I have the space to build a greenhouse, plus the land to have a nice garden, but not the drive to get it done. Sigh. Big gardens are a lot of work. You might try a container garden. Get a couple of 15 gallon pots, some soil and seeds and you're good to go. Super easy to water by hand.
