    Yeah...religion.  :eek:

    He mentions that he had been collecting most of his life, it was two closets full, and it was worth tens upon tens of thousands of dollars.  The only details of the collection he mentions is that he had a complete Walking Dead run.  I'm pretty sure I can see slabs in several of the boxes around the 5:37 mark.

    Personally, I'm hoping it was mostly modern cover variants and newsstands...and definitely nothing pre-1975.  :D  :shy:

    How badly will binder holes effect the grade?

    And as you can see, CGC will grade it as either a Universal or Qualified.

    Collectors call tv show, comic book episode

    Tonight episode is a comic book collector

    Allen stewart and his 65K collection. 

    They have an appraiser on who appraises individual and then the whole entire collection. Then at the end they offer something valuable comic book related to that collector for something that they have. Hence its the collectors call to make the trade.

    Grade deduction for ink smear?

    I realize this is a threadsurrection, but I was doing some print defect analysis and ran across this thread.  I thought you might find this interesting.

    The Amazing Adventures #11 print defect (also called ink smear, print smear and roller smudge) has been found on every copy I've inspected.  Since it is also present on the 9.8 below, it would appear that CGC does not deduct for print defects of this nature in 9.8 and below.

    As such, I would assume that CGC will also not deduct for similar print defects on 9.8 and below, such as the one found on The Eternals #12.

    Is this a good assumption, or are there other factors involved?  If so, what are they?  Possibly the size of the defect, or the percentage of books that do not have it? 

    Please discuss.

    It's certainly possible.  I wonder what he was using on the books to keep the bugs away.  :)
