What'd he do again? Was that the "tried to charge $15 shipping & paypal vig" post sale along with sloppily trying to cover it up/delete posts then react poorly here when facing the mob thing? Was there something else? There's been so many PL/HOS discussions lately that I think we might need to create a summary page to keep them all straight.

I hope at some point we reflect on what we really want the sales area to be. Are we trying to create a marketplace that competes with other auction/sales sites? If so, we will constantly have to contend with scammers whose only purpose here is profit. Or are we trying to create a community where respected members are rewarded by being able to buy and sell without fees and hassle? If so, maybe we should continue to think about who is allowed to buy and sell, and how that privilege is earned. Just my for the day.

I'm not sure if I am in the group, I hope I'm not. I hope you don't think I am. You're new, and I'm glad you got out of the deal. There was a reason why you didn't see a bunch of veterans jumping into that thread. They've been down this road before and aren't willing to take the risk. Also, the seller's instant knowledge of the rules and the mechanics of posting and selling, and the speed at which his pics came up lead one to question whether this might be a shill for a HOS/PL or previously banned member.

He'd be doing you a favor, wouldn't he? That's a massive burden you've taken on yourself. What you've been trying to accomplish has to have been about as easy as a leper selling skin care products. Am I the leper? Third time today I got that question.....no the Leper is AC's reputation, the skin care products would be attempts to rehab his image and/or get him to fulfill all the obligations.
