  1. Awesome! There's some great music in there. I'll have to get around to updating it one of these days. Are you back yet?
  2. Ok...did some more research. This listing has the following description. ======================= And...oh look...a perfect 10.0 Mint!!!!!! LINK From djbrady4u .
  3. Yeah...but just the cover. If that book holds its value (doubtful), there may be a lot of married cover books on the market in later years...and no pesky staple holes to align. Seems like a bad idea to be selling these. I'm assuming there's no identifying marks signaling that it was a cover-only run (I didn't really look that close). The weird thing is the scans. Each scanner seems to pick up a slightly different variation.
  4. I don't get this . Just the cover? Was this available with dealers or maybe at a con? By the way, this shows the insanity of auctions. $99 BIN or $145.50 Auction Same item, same dealer.
  5. I don't know. I didn't see it in real time, and I assume the post would have been deleted. Masking to get around the filter is risky business now, but I see it a lot on the boards.
  6. Rocker is awesome. And his "poopie" photo made me laugh.
  7. He was only 4 days away from his first strike anniversary. So, unfortunately, that's a 2 Weeker .
  8. Yeah, it was before the 1197 mess. Although it does very slightly show that distinctive diagonal shift to the front cover. Almost all those 1197s have top edge overhang and more interior page outgrowth at the URFC than the LRFC, yet the bottom edge of the FC and interior pages are parallel. Thor is probably my most anticipated movie of the year. The trailers looks great!
  9. I think you're right. The math was probably a no-brainer. "Let's see, there's 31 million girls in the U.S. age 14 and younger. How many Flash comic book fans are there again? Hmm...yeah, ok...we're gonna go with cute." Don't forget Arrow is a CW show. Young, good looking, trendy are their priorities when casting anything. Definitely. Although keeping these same elements, their approach with "Supernatural" was quite different, and probably why it appeals to me more.

  11. Avengers #4 CGC 9.8 sells for record $120,000 at Pedigree Comics. Bought prior to auction on 8/24.
  12. Three episodes of "Arrow" -- including the backdoor pilot.
  13. Falling Waffle has almost a million hits on YouTube now.
  14. Wow! Looks like it was option #3 then. Arrow: Grant Gustin Cast as The Flash | The Glee alum will join Arrow as Barry Allen. Have any of you watched Glee? He's not exactly the Barry Allen type...maybe Kid Flash ... Ben Affleck would be better, but I do love the show. He reminds me a little of Andrew Garfield. And I have a feeling that's no accident. I've only seen the first couple episodes of Glee, so I'm unfamiliar with Gustin.
  15. The show is solid. I wouldn't say great, but I never miss an episode. Adding Flash just makes it better. I'm looking forward to it. And I'm REALLY looking forward to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Starts 9/24.
