Of course not it is a natural printing defect and is an integral part of the book and not caused by wear and tear which is a not a grading defect. But who knows anymore.

I just found out it is a first print and rarer than the direct edition. Similar to Spider-man gold 1 UPC. It is the one to collect.

Is the G.I. Joe 21 with the UPC code the rarer of the issues. Thanks. Similar to Spider-man 1 by McFarland.

Of the issues 2-10 which one is the most difficult to get in high grade. sorry if you already addressed this but I am too lazy to read all the threads anymore............

I just can't seem to find a G I 21 in super high grade. Was it a small print run.

Not ASM 300 9.8 at almost 900 bucks.

I can't believe I have joined you on this quest for the holy grail G. I Joe 21 9.8. Good job at corrupting me. I also want the GI joe 1 special and a 155 9.8+. I have owned two GI joe 1 marvel CGC 9.8s W and would love to find a 9.9 oh yea baby. I just got another copy that looks great but will probably only grade out at 9.6. The search continues. I just bought two NM+ GI joe 1's on ebay and they were VF- at the most.
