  5. If you are are watch enthusiast you know there are no shortage of watches and watch brands around the globe. In addition to comics I have been a watch enthusiast and collector for about 15 years. When I started seriously contemplating creating my own watch and brand I knew the quality of timepiece I wanted to create and the type of customer experience both through the watch itself as well as the experience with the company. So I started with the end vision and worked backwards to build a watch I envisioned as well as set up the necessary partnerships and foundation the brand needed to start and grow, start with the end, Z-A hence the name ZENEA. I would describe the brand as a high value, reasonable cost Canadian based quality provider of Swiss timepieces. The first line of watches pictured above comes with a very solid specification sheet: Sapphire crystal with inner antireflective coating, ceramic bezel, applied markers and logo, , 300 metre water resistance rating, Swiss BGW9 lume, ETA 2824 mechanical movement, screw down embossed crown, high quality and well finished H-Link stainless bracelet with deployant clasp. The case back also has a custom made embossed back that I had created by a friend of mine who is a graphic artist. It is of two heraldic dolphins swimming in a circle around the ZENEA hourglass Z logo, representing the never ending continuity of time. The name Ula (pronounced "you'la") is Celtic meaning Sea Jewel. To my knowledge, we are one of only a handful of Canadian based Swiss Watch brands on the market currently. Each watch also comes with a leather strap that can easily be changed out from the stainless bracelet through a quick release spring bar. We have quite a few other lines planned with probably a dress watch being the next line to be produced, but being a certified Scuba diver myself, I am a big fan of Dive Style watches as are many individuals so wanted to create a line that had potential for broad level appeal and was rugged enough to be a part of any adventure, in the water or land. Being a Canadian brand, the pantone colour on the second hand, 5 minute sub markers on the chapter dial and also the outer box of the packaging are an exact match for the Canadian flag. Launch price of the watches are currently at $599 US, which for a watch of this caliber and finish is very competitive. The meteorite dial version is about $150 more. Hope that gives a little bit more info. I'm working with a videographer and editor over the next couple of weeks so there will be a lot better quality photos and videos of the watch itself to showcase the quality of the finish and build. Many online reviewers also lined up to get their hands on the watch and share their thoughts as well. All unscripted and unpaid of course for their honest thoughts on the watch. I'll edit in a photo of the case back from my phone write after I post this response from my phone. Thanks for your interest Warmest Regards, Jason
