My favorite book in my entire collection!

Just received some of my slabbed books back that I sent in for a press and resub. Overall pretty happy with the results. 5 books graded up 2 stayed the same 1 went down (by half a grade) Best jump was the Giant size X-men, 8.5 to 9.4! Very happy with that. Enjoy

Sweet books! Were those off your pull list from your LCS? Thanks, I purchased these from a variety of sources: DD1, Sub Mariner 8, Batman 241. TOS 40 and the Hulk 104 I purchased raw from various boardies Showcase 22, ASM 39, ASM 129. Jimmy Olsen 131 and Action 252 I purchased from Hell bay The Hulk 181, Jimmy Olsen 135, and Green Lantern 76 were bought privately locally.

I figured the ASM 39 for an 8.0 or 8.5 most likely. There is a small water stain on the back bottom cover, I am guessing this is why they knocked it down so much?

Just got these back from CGC today. All books were raw and pressed by Joey (my first time pressing). Overall pretty happy with the results. Most of the books came back a bit higher than I was expecting, with a couple lower than I was hoping for. Joey also made the process easy, so thanks very much Joe! Sorry for the so so pics, I have not scanner. The Batman 241 and ASM 39 came in lower than I was expecting, some others higher such as the GL 76, TOS 40, ASM 129 and the DD1 came in higher. The others about where I expected. Enjoy, Jason

Thanks guys, yes, I like my copy, too bad about the hole punch in the cover, but its a great looking copy and was within my budget, what more could I realistically ask for. Glad to be a member of this club! Cheers Jason

Regarding Qualitycomix, I received his email to ship the books I purchased for $6. I remember the purchase and he basically just dissapeared after the sale, even after reaching out to them via PM. Still not sure what happened, but sometimes the SHTF in life. I never sent any funds, so I was not too worried that the sale never went though (although a little dissapointed). I will be buying the books from the offer. I am fine with taking Qualitycomix off the Probation list as long as the sales seem to be completed for those who take advantage of Qualitycomix's offer. my $0.02 Jason

hmm, I think I now have about 500 slabbed books and about 10 long boxes and 20 short boxes of unslabbed books. Most of them are silver and bronze age books. My slabbed books were actually in the registry under MRJIFFY, but I have lost my password for that account and never bothered to sort it out.
