  1. Thanks for three great slabs chuck! Shipped fast and ridiculously well packed. You are the man.
  2. Pretty good and understandable explanation linked here. Full of spoilers for those who haven't played yet. http://venturebeat.com/2013/04/19/understanding-bioshock-infinites-ending-ending-explanation/ (thumbs u Just beat it last night and that is a good explanation for the most part.

  4. I'm guessing by the way you're handling that book you know it's the whitman reprint and not the actual sought after variant. Edit - 2 people already beat me to it.
  5. Glad I got to work out a deal with Kevin Recently. Paid immediately to a great cause, and let me know as soon as he got the books. Thanks again Kevin!
  6. Seriously awesome room man. I hope I can get a wall set up like that someday.
  7. I think all the fighting at the prison will have attracted a zombie horde and they will have to leave. Many of the children and elderly will die, and we will be at a more manageable group. That or food..
  8. I liked the episode. And while I love Andrea in the comics, I am glad to see her leave the show. I never much cared for the actress portraying her. All she did was whine during the first two seasons, and annoy me in the third season. I thought the Gov's turn on his people was a bit weak.
  9. Girlfriend surprised me with Bioshock Infinite today for Easter!
  10. The Drumstick in front is Signed by James Dewees as "Reggie" too It was at the small stage at emos and I was able to grab it at the end of the show.
  11. Man Reggie is getting alot of Love on these boards! I am surprised. He toured with the get up kids 2 or three years ago. They did like a two hour set. I've seen Reggie three times now. The last time I saw him was his "Farewell" tour where he opened as Fluctuation, Came out as Reggie, and closed as Common Denominator. He was up there for like two and a half hours with some costume changes.
  12. And just cause someone asked about the tickets - Reggie and the full effect, Death Cab for Cutie and Franz Ferdinand, and Alkaline trio - The Killers, The Shins, and Conner Oberst from Bright eyes and the Faint -
  13. Thanks! Im working on cleaning it up and maybe getting some slab frames to hang up more stuff. I hate deciding between frames and more comics though..
  14. Haha Stan was sitting down. I don't imagine at his age he stands for too long at these things.
  15. My very humble comic book room - Very Messy Desk with some art behind it - My display case across from the desk - Video games - Art behind the Desk - A bagley venom, My first page of OA from Mysterio, and a print of Bats #251 with a double Neal Adams sketch - In my Display case I have some of my favorite Spidey covers - A ditko Esque Spidey toy I found a while ago - And my Autographed Stan card from Allen and Ginter - 2nd shelf has some autographed tickets from some bands I met when I use to goto shows in austin alot, and my picture of me with Stan and the Stan Marvel Legends figure - And bottom shelf is random Nintendo stuff - Signed poster from my favorite band - And some Zombie prints with sketches by Arthur Suydam hanging on the wall next to the desk - All pics done on my phone so they are not the best quality
  16. Really curious how this happens. Since witnesses cannot sub for themselves how do books like this and the Lucas book happen? They happen the same way as any other SS books - with both a CAW and a facilitator being present for the signing. By the date of the Schwarzenegger book it happened at his book signing on Oct. 3rd in Ohio Signing Now add that with a CAW and a facilitator and mystery solved. Maybe I'm just surprised that opps like that don't get more publicity I guess. +1 and I meant that info as not Haha I appreciate it.

Maybe I'm just surprised that opps like that don't get more publicity I guess. Because they aren't really opps. they are a wing and a prayer and a fervent hope that something, anything will get signed. The facilitator who puts it together has to pay all the CAW expenses himself being that it's only going to be a handful (max) that get done. So it's not something that's going to get a lot of pub beforehand because there's a good chance that nothing will get done. I am sure for every book that's done there are plenty of times nothing gets done. That's it in a nutshell. If someone is willing to take the risk and pay the costs, that's how a book like that can get done. Also, it's usually tied in with a convention in the same city. Sigs like that are a very risky endeavor. I have taken the risk many times and came away with nothing. Thanks guys. That's exactly what I was looking for.

  19. I guess if that's it that's it. I am just surprised to see so few of them available if they were signing at a big con like SDCC. The Arnold book recently posted was done on 10/3/2012. I'm not trying to cry foul on anything here, or seem stupid about not knowing how the SS program works. There's just something I'm missing I guess.
  20. Anymore information than that? I see books signed by people that never attend cons, like George Lucasm Arnold, Meghan Fox, Ewan Mcgregor. Do you have to set up a meeting with that actor directly and fly out a CAW to have the signing witnessed? If so why are their so few of these books. Wouldn't multiple get done at these signings? I really am just curious how this all works.
