  1. Got my ASM slabs today. A tank could probably run over this package and my books would be fine. Thanks for a great transaction.
  2. Sorry bro, but this is not Metal Gear. It's a hack and slash disguised as Metal Gear. Tactical Espionage Action it is not. It's a spin-off. It's going to be an all-out action game, to be sure, but it's being made by arguably the most talented studio for producing pure action games in existence. And I disagree with the idea that this isn't a Metal Gear game. Every Metal Gear game has had crazy, off the wall action; it was just relegated to unplayable cut-scenes. I look at this game as an opportunity to finally play all those crazy cut-scenes, instead of just watching them. Metal gear has to be the funnest, yet most convoluted, wacky, and crazy franchise there is. I still have no idea what happened in MGS4.
  3. He certainly does, as the story goes, or as far as how Marcela Giacotti' (The wedding planner) tells it. Ditko became quite aggravated when Jean-Gerard started taking those pictures, but Steve kept drinking anyways. When Jeanine Williams, Citlali's best friend, was going around the tables greeting people, she made it to Ditko's corner and and kindly asked him to sign the guest book..then he jumped up and said..."Mmmmm, this beer is delicious!!! I love this beer!...also, NO Autographs nimwitts!!!" then he just walked out (or so I was told), but apparently, not before grabbing two beers from the freezer... Are these spur of the moment, or do you have a long list waiting to be unleashed?
  4. Super fast shipping, and Item as described. What more do you want?
  5. Fast payment. Great guy to work with. Thanks again Dave!
  6. Fast payment. Great communication. Great guy!
  7. Those are awesome! Never even heard of them.
  8. Yeah Sony made that decision after the first round of PS3's. Would have loved to have been able to keep playing my ps2 games on my PS3...
  9. My friend just drew this and sent it over. I liked it. Old man Daredevil
  10. Honestly I can't provide much info on them. I bought them on ebay about a week before the concert. I bought all the original sound versions. I wouldnt say they are too collectible by themselves. His signature goes for decent money though. The lady and I each got a Distant Worlds II CD signed by him and Arnie Roth (everyone at the meet and great got one.) Got $200 for one of them after the meet and great, kept the other.
  11. Here is 6, 8 (least impressive), and 10. No idea where 5 is at the moment.
  12. Sadly it's not too impressive. I wish they all had Amanos art.
  13. No games signed. I got the soundtracks for 5-10 signed. If I ever see him again I will bring games.
  14. you know, looking at this pic again makes me curious.... I see presumably your wife son and daughter dressed up (tie on your son, dresses on the girls) yet you are less dressed up... long pants (?) and button up shirt but short sleeve and not tuckend in.. and Nobuo not dressed up at all. Just curious as you guys are clearly together yet dressed different If it was a public signing (white banquet table) then why would your family dress up; if it was at your home, why do you have a white banquet table Just curious! It was at a concert in San Francisco. Me and my girlfriend are the two standing in the back dressed up for the concert. Nobuo is on the right, he just sat in the audience and conducted one winged angel. The guy in the middle is Arnie Roth, the conductor. The woman on the end is Susan Calloway, she sang some of the songs. Arnie and Nobuo where both dressed different for the show, but got more comftorable afterwards.
  15. FF 13... Was what it was... I commend them for trying to make a step forward and shake things up, but it was too linear too me. It was also too convoluted. FFX was the last one I played that I really enjoyed. It was linear, but i still loved it.
  16. And I got to get a couple of these signed -
  17. I posted this in one of the what do you look like threads. I am a big fan of the FInal Fantasy games especially the music. Getting to meet Nobuo Uematsu was incredible!
  18. It's a print of art done by miyamoto for Mario's 25th anniversary. They had an event at Nintendo world in NY on Nov 7th 2010 that Miyamoto showed up to with some other Nintendo big wigs. The only way to get one of the prints was to purchase a 25th anniversary wii or DS day at the event, and it would come with one. As far as I am aware the sig is part of the print. I have heard people to say it was signed individually, but haven't seen anything to substantiate that. Either way it's cool as heck and they are extremely hard to come by, so I'm glad I picked one up early.
  19. Man those games are sweet! I don't collect games, but I do collect Nintendo memorabilia. This is the prize of my collection -
  20. I love the fact that you do NOT have Simon's Quest in there. Hated that game... Your more obscure titles (Trojan, Legendary Wings and Baseball Stars 2) are also personal favorites. Awesome collection! I'd love to see more pics in the future. A sealed Final Fantasy?! Nice! I miss my sealed set of all 4 Dragon Warriors. Sweet sassy molassy!
  21. Thanks! I would like to get a little more up there, but I was tired of those frames just sitting around. Post a pic of yours once you get it up!
  22. Thanks again for the sweet print Brian. I have been waiting for something else to fill the void on my wall before hanging my two commissions from Brian and this helped fill the wall nicely!
  23. Thanks! I meant to say I love his pencils, but was too concerned with spelling the name right...
