I don't want Merle in the group either, he's scum. That is what I meant by redemption, giving up himself and taking out the Gov to save his brother,

    :acclaim:

At least Merle gave it a shot. He tried to give Darryl the chance at the family he wanted, tried to take out the Gov, and tried to redeem himself knowing that it was a one way mission.

On talking dead, Michael Rooker said it was in no way a suicide mission. He expected to get out, but of course that didn't happen.

    lol

Maybe that's what they told him when shooting the scenes so he wouldn't get pissed.

I don't see any way that wasn't a suicide mission. The way he drank alone in the car, and how he kicked Michonne out.

  2. How do you know they haven't opened them, or even received them? I would call someone, because they ought to be at least Verified and probably SFG if not Graded by now.

I email them once a week. They are currently opening books of week October 27.......

"Opening books"? Do you mean grading books? Which tier are you talking about?

They opening the vault and taking a group of books out. then they to grading for a week, then to encapsulation for a week, then 2 weeks later they are shipped out...

thats what they tell me. heck who knows, CGC is more private than the CIA

Ehm ... you seem to be confusing the actual process.

When books are shipped to CGC, they show up as "Received". CGC then checks the books and they go to "Verified".

After that the books sit in the vault for a while - for how long depends on the tier - get pulled out for grading, then moved to the encapsulation room, and then back in the vault until they're ready to be QC'ed and shipped out. The time between stages depend on the tier and how back-logged CGC is at various stages - sometimes they switch from graded to shipped very fast, sometimes they don't.

If your subbed your books back in November under either the Economy or Value tier, they are at least sitting in "Verified" right now - perhaps even scheduled for grading - and will most likely get graded within the next week (based on what other people have posted so far).

Green Jacket Gold Jacket...Who gives a S-H-I-T on the process ....I dont have the books since Nov 3rd....

Im glad you can explain how sausage gets made...

This is how you make quick friends on these boards :whee:

  3. Anyone play Resident Evil Revelations on the 3ds? Easily my favorite 3DS game so far, and an overall great RE game.
I've heard about it,but I don't know if the controls on the 3DS would be easy to play the game hm

I'm more of 2D side-scrolling,RPG,Platfomer kind of gamer for my Handheld Nintendo games.

    I'm still waitng for Animal Crossing 3DS & Pokemon Y & X :taptaptap:

Well don't sweat it because they're porting RE: Revelations to the PS3/360 in May and it will have more content.

    hm
    :o

Didn't know that! Will it be DLC or actually in stores?

I'm a RPG first guy, but the controls in the Resident Evil game are great. I really recommend it.

  5. I may not understand how this is done, but I didn't think they used the encapsulation machine for reholders..... they just snap a new hard plastic holder around the previously encapsulated book.

Nah, they put in new labels and micro chamber paper. So it has to be encapsulated again.

I think they stopped using microchamber paper.

    :o

I thought that was public knowledge. I've seen people here comment on it and the last 5 or 6 books I've cracked didn't have it in them.

    It's probably for the best.

Weird. When I called and spoke with Eric about the reholder I asked if they would be replacing the micro chamber paper and he said yes.

Wonder if it was force of habit.

  6. Sent in books for reholder service.

    8 Slabs

    verified 03/04

    Shipped/Safe 03/06

    :o

Not sure if this is an error. I thought it would be delayed at the encapsulation machine.

dang still waiting on my modern ft invoice date 2/14 graded last wed

    still not shipped

Thats why it was such a big surprise. I know other people have graded books waiting for encapsulation.

  8. This is bull $^%$!!!! I was hoping they would stick with the reboot. Not only did she utter one of the dumbest movie lines of all time but her delivery was pure . Maybe they can find a spot for Travolta and they can remake Swordfish. He always plays a really #$%^ villain. Another choice for worse line in a film and delivery of it. John Travolta in Broken Arrow. "Yeah ain't it cool?!" What a &$#@ load of ^%&*.

The way this turd is heading Marvel Studio's may one day get the rights back to the X-Men.

I agree she was trash. Also I wonder how much her demanding the role as leader in X-3 played into the trash -script.

    How would you write Storm?

I think a lot of her "bad" acting has to do with how the writers write Storm.

It seems the writers don't know how she fits in with the team.

It's a good thing I pay to see other people write her, and I am not getting paid millions to write scripts cause I am a terrible writer. :P
