That is a sweet sweet book

I actually had him do this for me before I heard about this book.

No monetary value can be placed on it because he did it personally for me. It was done on a 36, which I chose because of how the message relates to 9/11.

It will never be as rare or sought after as this book, but it will never leave my personal collection either.

You know, contrary to belief, he does not pray to win games...he prays for no injuries and a good game regardless of who wins.

 

Superbowl, here we come.

How much fun was today's game? I can't wait to have miller back though.

This book is so sick!!

I want to send out big time props to NYCOMICS for my x-men 1 cgc SS by Stan Lee. I'm still waiting on CGC for some other books, but I got that one about a month ago and LOVE IT. Hope to post scans soon.

I thought I would start a thread that would try and capture one of the really awesome things about doing signature series books. There are often opporunities to get one-of-a-kind books signed and graded.

 

So here are the rules for posting books in this thread:

 

1. The book must be the only Signature Series book for that particular issue on the census

 

2. You may post your book if there are other SS copies on the census only if your copy is the highest and only graded copy. So if there are a couple SS 9.4's and you have the only SS 9.8, then you could post it here.

 

3. Please refrain from posting signed and sketched books as we all know that type of thing is one of a kind, plus there's another thread for that

 

3a. You may post a SS signed and sketched book if it is the only SS book, or single highest graded SS book.

 

I think this would be a really cool way to see all the "one of a kind" ss books out there!

I still don't see how the group would let Hershel run them off. I am sorry but I would pull a Shane and take down Hershel and anyone else who tried to make me leave the place.

I'm guessing Shane gets killed, and Rick decides to respect Hershel's wishes.

Last nights episode was great.

Who would have thought it was Sophia who was so fired up about Darabont's firing?

Just in, possible confirm on major character being killed off this season!

 

 

There is an almost confirmed certainty that one of the major characters will be killed this season!! There is no mention or hints of whom on when.

 

"It seems that the explosive exiting of former showrunner Frank Darabont from The Walking Dead has still left some ripples and the aftershock could be the killing off of a major character soon.

 

TV Line reports that a regular member of the cast wasn’t too happy with the way that Darabont was treated by AMC this summer and they asked for their release from their contract, which was eventually granted by the network. The cast member’s character was then written to be killed off but the actor/actress have now reportedly changed their mind believing they acted a little hastily and want to stick around. Problem is it may now be too late and AMC may very well kill them off anyway now that the idea is there."

 

T-Dog

It must be one of Darabont's regular actors. Possibly, the actor who plays Dale. He was in Darabont's The Mist, Shawshank Redemption and probably Black Cat Run for all I know. He seems like a very loyal member Frank's acting troupe that contributes to a project's vision. My

 

T-Dog is here for the long haul.

 

 

I'm thinking Dale as well....maybe that is part of the whole Dale and Shane conflict last episode? Maybe their building up something between the two in order to off Dale. I would say Shane but Kirkman seems a little buddy buddy with Jon Berthal.

Give TV Andrea time. She wasn't a badass at this point in the comic either.

 

I love Andrea in the comic but she didn't toughen up (in the comic) and become a force to be reckoned with until after her experience in the prison when she was attacked and cut up.

 

Her survival of that event was her major turning point, when she became a strong character.

 

I don't need her to be a badass right now. I just need her to not be nauseating.

Exactly, she is great in the books, but in the show... Even in the beginning of TWD series she wasn't such an annoying, ungrateful, idiotic, complaining wench. I can't stand her on the show, if I heard I want my gun one more time, I would have taken a gun to myself.

Is one of the goals of the show to make Andrea as un-likeable as possible?

I wish I would have remembered to ask him to write "Avengers Assemble" on my avengers blank but alas... I'm still so happy with what I got done.
