I checked . He has about 150 comics for sale. That is why I suggested leaving feedback so future buyers will know of his poor shipping for comics.

That is inexcusable . No reason not to take advantage of it being in a priority envelope. The weight limit for those is way up there . I would leave at least neutral feedback and tell people he doesnt know how to ship comic books well.

I like the show. But it just seems to be a little bit of a twist on the show Castle - hes a writer working with the police. This show its Satan working with the police. Now how they go about it is different and there is more to it since he has powers over people . But its not one of those shows I would miss terribly if its gets cancelled. Its just not different enough .

Mine was a WD 4 2x signed. As I saw the positive feedback going up I decided to contact ebay before this joker could do this to more of us. Same thing, same buyer (suziejenn), for a WD 3x signed. PP informed me that the "spouse" did not recognize the charge on the cc. was this before or after shipping the comic? After it shipped and delivered a dispute was sent to us that required action. Interesting update: so the book that was sold to suziejenn in Michigan now has new pics and is listed for sale by backtothepastpopculture in Michigan for an increased amount. Thats a brick and mortar store in Michigan . Shame on them if they are doing that . Maybe they were sold the item by that person . I would contact them . But first I would contact your local police and have this item written up as stolen. Then you can contact Back to the Past and maybe get your book back. Its worth a shot right ?

Picked up a few Scooby Doo Team up 12's earlier today . I contacted my local Books A million store the week of its release . They said they had the comics/magazines for the week in the back unopened . This was the Friday after it was released . I left my number and asked them to hold a copy and call if they got any. They finally called today . 2 weeks after I left my number . I got 2 copies . There were 4 more on the shelf that had minor dings and corner bends. I was smart enough to bring in a few bags and boards to put the books in . The counter monkey showed no regard for their condition and I dont think I would have wanted them If I hadnt bagged and boarded them , as he tried to bend the comics to scan them in to the register . So if there are any Books A Million near you. You might get lucky with this book.

Most of us look at the overall total price that a book has sold for . The book above sold for almost $40. It doesnt matter if the book sold for $20 and $20 was paid in shipping or the buyer paid $39 and $1 in shipping . What I would do, and a lot of people already do. Is in this example charge $40 and offer free shipping . Which is what the poster you are arguing with was saying .

Add this person if you want vfikethek13 He contacted me about 3 Lady Death Leather cover comics I have for sale on Ebay. He sent me his Phone number to text him . He asked what the best price he could get was . I told him $90 priority mail shipped. They are regularly $33 to $36 each . He then asked for a Fourth book , another Lady Death Leather . I told him $115 for all 4 , Priority mail shipped. He said ok, he sent me his paypal email . I invoiced him over a week ago thru Paypal. No response. So i messaged him on Ebay to make sure he got the invoice . No response . I sent reminder through PP . No response . I texted him earlier today, still no response. I have already blocked him on ebay . I cant tell for sure but it looks like he has bought other books since we struck our deal. He never asked for time to pay, never hinted he wouldnt be paying right away .

Suspected would be as good as guilty. To some, but not to everyone. Then the Market can price it accordingly .

How about if it isnt 100 % detected but is "Suspected" that gets a notation on the Blue label ? Is this fair enough ? Or is this still too much supposition ?

Didn't PSA have a monopoly on card grading at one time Dan Doesn't your model work on straight resub no pressing? In other words a CGC mistake? If a new grading pops up they are going to be likely tighter and more consistent. Meaning you'll have to submit to CGC and crack the other company's to make money. Or you'll need to wait a couple years til the new grading company either has cycles of grading or enough on the market you can find the mistakes. How does a competitor help your model? Or would you adjust to a new model altogether with a new company? My "model" is to seek out books that look undergraded in hopes of an upgrade. A bit of a gamble I know, but Im willing to take that gamble. Many people on these Boards including you have benefitted from this. I know that the number in the corner is only an OPINION. Whether a book is trimmed, color touched, pieces added, that should be a FACT. This thread was started about going from Blue to Purple (and now back to Blue), not about a book being graded tight or not. If a new co could detect resto better, it would benefit ALL of us! See my last post on the issue of trimming. If you've ever seen a micro trimmed book in hand I think you'd agree that without before and after scans it's nearly impossible to tell with certainty. You're getting the same opinion on trimming you are on a grade. There's a detection difference between this and the other things you mentioned. Trimming is an opinion the same kind of opinion you seek to exploit. And I don't say that negatively because I do the same thing. I'm simply pointing out that the detection of trimming isn't a fact in the same sense the other things you mentioned. Since CGC has the power (and I agree WE gave them that power) to turn a $5000 book into a $2000 book, they should be 100% certain, or go with a Blue Label So inevitably......trimming gets a pass because CGC can't detect it with absolute certainty. Slippery slope indeed How do people keep turning this into " Trimming gets a pass " from IF IT CANT BE 100% DETECTED.

It was discussed, with verification from our own Joeypost, that a trimmed edge can be roughed up to hide the trim. To verify something like this did or did not happen, CGC would need to see the book again in hand. If it was tampered with, and deliberately sent in on a low staff day, how is this not being played? I have read every post. You seem to accept as fact all the supposition about how this book came back through and was unjustly awarded a Blue Label . Thinking that CGC is the victim in all this. Thats what I was referring to . Unless this is the plot to Oceans 14..... Hmm, A heist movie about a comic book.... its so crazy it just might work!!!! But only if Julia Roberts gets to play Julia Roberts playing Julia Roberts .

It is midnight on a Sunday . Not everyone can post 4000 times in a 4 or 5 month period . Some people do have jobs .

Just a very very large on their part. Just curious how you " take it off the market ". The only permanent way for that to be done is to have CGC buy it, make restitution to the players involved and destroy the book . Im not for destroying any comic , EVER . If not this, then one day it would re enter the market and have some prominence .

Maybe CGC handled it so much looking for the "Phantom Restoration" they damaged the book enough to go from a 7.0 to 6.0 .

I have an Avengers #4 . It just has 1230 on the cover. With no year on it. According to what I am seeing at the marvel wiki it lists the date as March 1964 of when it came out. http://marvel.wikia.com/Avengers_Vol_1_4 So is it possible it was released earlier , but it was the March 1964 issue ? Or is the date stamp on the cover possibly unrelated to the release ? The stamp is bigger than a normal date stamp . I sell comics on eBay . My whole name doesnt fit . So I condensed it to Bills Comics . The Avatar is a vinyl cut out my brother sells on Ebay . I thought it looked cool . I figured people would like it since Zombies are so popular .

I dont think it supposed to be anything in particular. Just a torn black page showing whats underneath it . The top the woman, the bottom the cat . Thats all I see though . Maybe someone else sees something else .
