    There always seemed to be a difference in the way the top third was removed...sometimes neatly, sometimes cut through the first page and sometimes cut through multiple pages...had to be a rotten job.

    There was a corner store that sold remainder copies for five cents each...EC Comics were not easy to find on the newsstand, they kind of hid them...and these remainders were only a couple months old. And, I was buying them to read not to collect...the collection came later. Marty

    I sure everyone here has their own opinion on this subject but I do know that after all these years of saving my comics I would find it difficult to part with them and I know they will be in good hands with my sons in the future. In the meantime I enjoy sharing scans with the collecting community. Marty

    I try to keep a B&W copy of the cover with all my coverless comics.
