  1. That cant be right. 28 bids though. Someone must have thought they were first prints at the last minute?
  2. What are high grade weekly runs going for nowadays? $600? $700? $1,650??
  3. That's a Walking Dead edition of Risk also? What the hell is going on? Where are these at? Hasbro has nothing on their site about this.
  4. Kirkman or McFarlane simply thought it would look badas s with two swords (it does) Obviously Kirkman is well aware of how many sword(s) she has in the book. It was a decision and not a mistake.
  5. Greedy that's all. Trying to get the most he can with no shame. If you are going to do that though...at least have a prettier ad! Wtf is up with that picture!? You would be a fool to spend that much money and not know exactly what you are getting in detail.
  6. I was so close to submitting my order after I saw my credit card wouldn't be charged until 3rd quarter of this year. Had it in my shopping cart, went back to look over the description again. LIMITED TO 1500!!! Man...that's a lot of coin for such high numbered production, I was thinking it was limited to 250 or 500. It's cool as hell, but I would rather use that cash to buy my first firearm here in a few months. Gonna have to pass.
  7. YEP! I have contacted them to request they don't put one on anything I buy. They are no guarantees they say. When did they start doing this? I have bought a ton of slabs from them, and not one has ever had a Comiclink sticker on it. I don't know, it's been going on for quite a while, a year at LEAST. I personally have only gotten one slab (WD #6) with one of the stickers. Like Phil say's, it's not really a huge deal, I don't mind it and knew it was there before I bought it, some people might be turned off by it. So long as it doesn't cover up any of the book I don't mind.
  8. No, I'm not serious. I posted the information as a joke and not to inform people who might be new to Comic Link. naughty naughty sarcasm My point is that it's really not that hard to take the sticker off if you don't want it there. You're right, it's not. There is a whole thread dedicated to methods of sticker removal via the second link of my original post.

  10. Not every book you get from them will have a sticker, it's really hit and miss. They usually put it on the back top part where it is not obstructing view of the book itself. I will have to post some pics so you can see what they look like.
  11. It's pretty silly. If they are going to put a sticker on it to advertise where it came from at least put it on the CGC bag or something, not on the slab itself.

  13. Buying from Comic Link is legit. My only complaint is when my slab comes back with one of those lame Comic Link stickers on it, so ugly!
  14. I feel the same way! I was NOT prepared for that! Of course zero sleep and excessive alcohol consumption didn't help either. I didn't anticipate them giving the variant at the end of the course either, when I was all sweaty and out of breath. Walked the book 4 blocks back to the hotel that night, got Charlie's sig the next day and came back a 9.8! Shock and awe. I'm on the fence about going this year, as you said unless there is a must have variant I might just pass or buy it on eBay and skip the workout.
  15. I went last year, the entire cast was present. You can only speculate at this point, but I am willing to bet Kirkman and several cast members will be there. They are doing The Walking Dead Escape again this year, so WD will be another big presence this year I would imagine.
  16. Depends on who it is signed by I would imagine. As well as sketched on.
  17. It WAS a sleeping bear. It's been awake for some time now and this bear don't hibernate...
