  1. "It's true. as of April, i'm handing Deadpool art duties off to the amazing Mighty Mike Hawthorne. He's an absolute beast, so you all have nothing to worry about. This last year's been pretty rough on me, so i'm going to step away for a bit and reconnect with my family while i concoct some new projects. Marvel's been really great to me over the years, so you'll see me around."
  2. only dumb if you mix creators with actors. That is weird. if you can get some creators at the same signing, why wouldn't you? So my WD #1 9.8 SS Kirkman/Moore/Holden/Bernthal is "dumb" eh?
  3. Yeah they look great in those but they don't quite fit cleanly in a CGC box as they are a little wide Saved me some coin. Thanks!
  4. My guess, not many. I consider myself a die hard and a completist, but obtaining EVERY book is no easy feat. Especially now with the spike in prices. It's a money game now. If you've got the cash...sure, easy. If not...gonna take some time to earn that achievement.
  5. I disagree. Mine looks awesome in it's nine, eight yellow label slab,I think it's an exceptional cover, even more so because I was there and ran the gamut. Recieved my raw at the end of the course and walked it 4 blocks to my hotel room unbagged and unboarded, got it signed and somehow managed to keep it's condition intact. So yeah, have to disagree with ya, probably my favorite cover at the moment. Means way more obviously for anyone who earned it, otherwise for anyone who didn't get to be in SD at the time the cover is blah. The Ottley is my favorite of them all. First time at SDCC as well, so it was doubly special. I like Ottley's also. I think Hitch's and Phillip's are my LEAST favorites. They just seem so...boring.

  7. I doubt it, 31,000 print run. Pretty much how I feel too. That's a ton of copies out there.
  8. I still haven't signed up for direct submission privileges. Any tips I should know before signing up/sending them out?
  9. I have two candidates I need to submit.Crossing my fingers for the same results!
  10. I am currently in talks with him right now, thank you. I feel kinda silly not having done so a long time ago.
  11. thewarz.com Soon to be on Steam when they get their ish together. If you get it let me know, we can group up sometime. Would be cool to get a group of boardie's on it. I think we would survive quite nicely.
  12. you made it sound awesome, i wish i would have played earlier It's definitely worth checking out, not super expensive either. $15 bucks. You can lose yourself in the game, stealthily trying to get in and out of towns scavenging for gear. You're pretty useless until you can find a weapon and when you come across other people it gets your adrenaline flowin' because you don't know if they are friendly or not. (Most aren't) I'll tell you though, the moment that sold me was when me and my buddy were playing together...He was in another town than I was and had met up with two other guys and they grouped up. What those guys didn't know was that I was on my way to meet up with them. The whole time I am on Mumble talking with my bud tracking there location. I finally get close enough to speak in proximity chat and the random guys that my buddy had joined ended up discussing whether or not I should join them because I was flagged as a bandit. Apparently they decided to kill me. I ran for the tree line up a hill and waited....they followed thinking they would have an easy kill. Once they got in range I blasted the first guy with my 12 gauge and my buddy who was third in line up the hill blasted the guy in front of him. It was the most epic double cross I have ever witnessed. They were so pissed! lmao. We filled our pockets, teabagged until it became not funny anymore and went on our way. Classic.
  13. Boardie has a SS one up that I am watching. Curious to see what that goes for. I feel like I have enough Signature Series right now, would rather get the book a bit cheaper.
  14. I take that back, I got both! Messaged the seller afterwords and asked him if he had any more...he did.
