  1. Just FYI, ALL OA from issues #99 and #100 were sold the first day....oh, and to one single buyer who must have made one hell of an offer. Sucks cause I would have bought s page. The ear necklace sold out preview night, which is just plain dumb. Way to make them accessible to people who couldn't make it that night. Sigh, been up for 40 hours...feeling pretty drained right now.

I WILL be attending the walking dead panel tomorrow for sure.

    My goodie bag includes:

Every #100 variant (minus ottley sketch var.) Sent to cgc

    3 Bible Style Compendiums

    1 Michonne Figure

    3 MiniMates

1 Partridge in a pear tree.

So I'm here til Sunday, have a mess ton of beer and a hotel room a 5 min walk from the con. Boardies 21 and up PM me if you want to hang out.

So tired sleepy time. WD escape 9pm tomorrow

So between Branget or DHurley which one of you bought all the #100 OA???

  2. When did a 5 year old kid start pencilling this book? I've heard a lot of complaints about the artwork, but it didn't really hit me until this issue. Abysmal...

Imagine "that" scene with Pre #20 attention to detail....

Let's take a look at your ink work. Post it up.

I couldn't do any better. That's not really the point. When we are discussing my ability to draw, I'll be sure to PM you.

Show me a 5 year old that can mimic Adlards work and I will show you a prodigy

  4. There are millions of "water heads" in this world. If anyone buys into this then they deserve to be taken. While I don't agree with the way it's being handled you can't fault the guy for taking advantage of the dummies in this world.

This most certainly isn't going to stop by any means. Just search "grab bag" on eBay and see what pops up.

Sorry, but this is crazy - we "can't fault" him? Why on earth not?

Taking advantage of people who are not very smart and fleecing them is absolutely to be faulted. This is on the same spectrum as selling financial products to eldery and confused people that don't need them, or trapping people in boiler room scams (if not quite at the same end).

:preach: Sounds like a good deal to me! Here's my credit card information young man.

  5. I want to see what's happening in other parts of the world. Paris? London? Russia?

I'll give you a hint...There are zombies there.

Part of the enjoyment of reading from primarily one groups point of view is that level of mystery you get. You don't know what's happening in Paris, London or Russia because Rick and his crew doesn't know either.

So wait you know there are zombies there but Rick and his crew from the actually story line don't? Are you holding out? :baiting:

lol, you know what I mean. Rick and everyone else more than likely believes the epidemic is everywhere. Sure they can hold on to hope, but in a zombie infested world, hope is overrated.

  7. What would be so bad about Rick dying or the view shifting to another group?

When you read 100 issues of something you tend to get attached to main characters.

I know due to the nature of the genre/story, characters will be killed off here and there but to shift the focus to a whole new group and introduce a whole new set of characters all at once kinda hinders the progress of the story imo. I don't want to re-read or go back to the beginning of a story I have already been reading. If I wanted to do that, I would just read issues #1-100 over again, no sense in paying double for a story I have already read, even if it is from new characters perspective.

  8. i really wish people would stop mentioning lori or judith possibly being alive. i have no idea why people would want a development to happen that would completely ruin the book. say what you want about carl, but he had medical attention immediately. lori/judith didn't. and even if you say "we didn't see them get buried" etc, it doesn't matter. that would be horrible story telling. it'd be just as bad as if the second part of #50 actually happened.
