I'm sure people do, but for whatever reason I just never got into them. I have always had few hundred. Pretty sure they came from times when I purchased a large lot and they were thrown in, but I'm not sure what issues or titles they are and I don't count them in my total collection. There is one copy that I have that I do count toward my total and that was this year's Free Comic Book Day offering from Archie. It was a digest and since I do have a complete run of the FCD Archie's from 2003 on I felt I needed to have this one in the mix. Are you looking to sell or buy? I don't know if you saw my post over in flea market finds. But I just got 1300 ish digests from a guy who brought them off the stands for 40 ish years. I am undecided...on one hand, I want to keep the good ones such as jug with archie 1-10, Katy Keene 1-10, a few other #1's then sell the rest. Oh also I found an archie superhero digest. Also #2 by Neal Adams but I forget which title. Also plenty of early laugh digests including Neal Adams. At the same time, I could fund my comic collection or $$ for art supplies. Not sure.

How the hell did you get in?!? I drove down yesterday with my son but they directed us to overflow parking and said it would be almost an hour wait for the shuttle and then a 2-3 hour wait to get in. No way my 8 year old would have sat in the sun that long waiting so we turned around and came home. Bummer! If you are going to go, go very early. I was lucky last year. The first day I was up at like 8 and ready to go, we were able to park directly in front of the doors behind the building. The second day we left at 10 to go there but we waited just over a hour to park. They had to open up that dirt lot under a bridge. Sounds like it was worse this year. I hope they fix that issue because they can lose a lot of attendance if they keep getting worse. One of the main reason why I did not go this year along with being in the middle of moving out of my house. Hope its not as bad at Tampa next month.

Just a heads up, whoever is selling this on Craigslist has lifted the photos and verbage word per word from my Ebay auction. I have already reported this to Craigslist, yet they did nothing to take down the listing. Here is the link to my auction. Optimus Prime I would advise heavily not to deal with this clown as I know whatever he is selling is not what you see in the pictures because I still have it in my possession. This is rather interesting. I looked at the pictures and they are indeed the same. Yes he is on craigslist. How did you find out about this? I have not heard from this person yet and I always do sales in person since my size deters them. I wonder if this is the same person selling cgc comics on there too. He never answers me and still posts the same thing over and over. Thank you for letting me know and I will see what happens if he does reply. I found out about it about a few weeks ago when somebody sent me a message on Ebay asking if I was also selling it on Craigslist because he found it strange why there was a huge price difference. He gave me the link to the Craigslist listing and I have since reported it. So far I have been disappointed with them since they have done nothing to take the listing down. Whoever this guy is, he may or may not have an Optimus Prime for sale. I'm not sure, but one thing I can guarantee you is that you will not get what you see on his listing because I still have it in my possession. Internet is awesome those days. Recent events in the last year have spread like wildfire. Thank you for letting me know. That archie digest lot I brought is looking promising so far. Quite a few 60-95 cent issues including jughead jones 2 (neal adams).

So I do not know if I will be getting that G1 beauty...... :( Anyways I picked up 1200 non duplicate various archie digests from this old dude in a retirement community today. Apparently he has owned them for 40 years. I have already eye balled around 7 early digests on the top. There is alot to go through and I will start tonight. He also threw in around 40 mad mags from 2004-2006ish and He actually had a copy of that Mad 166 finger cover that they gave out to subscribers when they cleaned out that vault at Mad. I think I shall keep that 166 for my collection. It was under $80 for the lot.

The only thing I have left is SNES factory sealed Sim City just like the one in the picture above. If I start seeing games again while I bargain shop, I might start up again.

True and I appreciate it. The box is original and I checked off the list off that transformer site regarding fakes or reissues. I guess I need to just remember what to look for under the roller and on optimus's back. But he does have that head decal by the door.

Still considered original isn't it? So far I see nothing that bothers me from his pictures. I am just waiting on his reply. I hate the waiting game. Would be nice to obtain this as my first figure. I have been waiting for a really good buy to start off the collection.

It looks complete. I have a question. I saw some of those fuel cars being blue and some being grey. The little rolling car. Why is that one piece different? This one is grey. Also on the box, the "formers" starts in middle under "A" in "trans"

I vote that it should be the start of a quick flip for you! I can not resist a flip but I need to start saving some of those goodies!!! This is why I love those places. Good finds to be had.

I did some research on that G1 optimus prime. You guys are right. He is asking $65. This might be the start of a g1 transformer collection for me!!! Thank you.

Can someone please help me out? I was walking around a shopping center with my family earlier today and came across those GI joes. Are they worth anything? Also I have my eyes on a G1 Optimus Prime MIB. I think I can snag it for $50............Box is rough but complete, the figure itself is pristine.

I just figured out what to do with those black blanks> That is awesome! I have always thought about using my massacre covers for sketches. Not sure why but I have always thought those books would come back with a very low grade. I guess this confirms that I can use those books!!!!

Thinking of doing Themed lots and some runs......Infinity G themed lot (origins HC/crusade/war/gauntlet)......Venom theme (LS and funeral pyre LS)........Possible Thanos themed (annihilation modern titles, Avengers GS thanos, capt marvel thanos)......runs of bronze ages. (Wonder Woman, Challengers, Invanders, Champions, Capt marvel, Ms, marvel, thor, hulk, etc) (only Ms Marvel will have key issues including mystique and 1st issue.) I might be able to put together a DEADMAN lot of 5 books (strange tales, challengers,) Most are reader copies (5.0-6.0 with some in 7-8.0.....)except moderns which are NM with note of defects if any. With 3 freebies (2 NM random bag/boarded comic and 1 drek unbagged)(no specific requests plz) Thinking of throwing in quick small head sketches for each purchase as well......maybe 3x3 inches I am looking to make some space in my boxes and refill the comic fund from recent supercon spending. As well as practice sketching. Sounds good? I am thinking of doing scans this week and maybe get it up and going on Saturday at midnight. Thats if I do not get swamped at work.

Thank you... I like to doodle these days. I wish I found the time to learn how to do it right. Exactly, I feel the same way. I am hoping to focus on sketching and get back to a certain level and beyond for the next year. Here are some of my old work. It has been years.....real life takes over after schooling. MARVEL.......Prismacolor color pencils on paper Batman.....Oil pastel on poster sized sheet. I learned so much when I drew this Mustang. This was when I went to the local art gallery for some classes. The instructor was very helpful and reminded me of Chip Foose since he also drew cars for a living. I should have sticked to the classes. Need to start setting aside a time to draw everyday or every other day.

That one might have to be down the road....alot of faces to draw there.I looked at some other Creepy covers.....I think I see one or two I like including 8 What issue is that in your Sig? #32 I already did that cover though. Someone suggest some covers for me to recreate. The only thing I will not be doing are titles or letterings. I am in dire need of practice since it has been years. I will choose the one I like the best and try to post it with in a week. Thank you!!!!!
