  1. Dark green, dark red, and white pages
  2. With the current CCS turnaround times I am surprised that more people aren’t going the third party route. It took some time to find someone I can trust, but I haven’t subbed to CCS in nearly a year and don’t see myself ever going back. I now get my books back in a respectable timeframe (less than a month) and at a comparable price to CCS. Plus, I have been happier with the grades I have received with my new presser which is a testament to their abilities. I understand that CGC is the gold standard for grading and I must endure their TATs to get maximum value out of my books, but it does not make financial sense for me to say the same thing about CCS anymore.
  3. I have 5 separate submissions that have been stuck at GEI for > 2 business days. These subs are ranging from slow track modern all the way up to express. One modern sub just hit 4 weeks at GEI today. None of these are sig series books. I’m not sure what may be causing this slow down as my experience previously with CGC has been books shipping within 24-48 hours of entering the GEI phase. Seems like some orders still do ship fairly quickly while others languish for one reason or another.
  4. That’s been my experience so far. You could always call customer service and see if they can look up your order on their end. I had a batch of magazines that were received by CCS in March that disappeared in November, but are now back on my order list as “scheduled for grading” at CGC as of this past week.
  5. You won’t be able to search them up again until they are with CGC. They should show up at the top of your order list once they are done with CCS.
  6. CGC must be keeping tabs on this thread because half of my 8/4 books that were stuck at GEI were shipped this morning. CGC coming through with a Christmas miracle!
  7. That was my hope for my 50 modern slow boats that were SFG on 8/4, but have been stuck at GEI since 11/29. At this rate, I will consider myself lucky to have them back before February seeing as how some invoices stay at GEI for weeks/months while others go straight through QC and are shipped within 24-48 hours of being in GEI. The grader who has my books must be inspecting them with a fine toothed comb if they have been in grading for over 2 weeks.
  8. Hi CGC, Why are my 50 modern slow boat books received on 8/4 still sitting at G/E/I since Monday? We need some transparency as to why books are not being graded and shipped in the order they are received. Sincerely, An annoyed customer
  9. Looks like the same seller as the $1850 copy that sold.
  10. I wouldn't say the market is cooling on this book just yet. There are a lot of collectors (myself included) who wouldn't consider paying market value for a comic that has significant color touch removal. It really is all about eye appeal at the end of the day. Regardless, congratulations on the sale.
  11. I think I will stop at issue #130 for now. PM me if you are interested in any other issues/lots. Thread will close at midnight.
  12. That's it for tonight. As always, another bulk deal for anyone who wants to take issues #51-#100. Take them all for $325 shipped.
