I must admit that I should not have tried to pass off the book as my own and instead should have offered it with the notion of a finders fee. For that I apologize to the OP. No one ever wants to risk giving up that they have a honey hole and I’m paying the price for it now. If I ever offer a book that I don’t already have in hand, I always personally inspect it before completing the deal. I never list books publicly here on the boards for sale that I don’t personally have in hand. The books from my sales threads that didn’t sell were moved to ebay and were in my possession at the time of the sale. From time to time I will send messages to boardies that have WTB threads to see if facilitating a sale is worth the time. If it looks like a deal is possible, I never send a buyer a book that I don’t first process myself. I have purchased many books and offered them here on the boards in the past with no issues. OP had posted a WTB thread and I had messaged him about the book directly. In hindsight, I should have been more forthcoming that I did not have the book in hand at the time. Lesson learned. If this causes others to not trust me in future transactions then I understand, but I believe you all deserve to hear my side of the story at the end of the day.

A 6.5 OW/W just sold on Clink for $1900. Pretty underwhelming for the third highest graded copy.

Next up is a classic witch cover. Currently 20 copies on the census with a 6.0 recently selling for just north of $1700 on Clink This one looks great in hand! Has a 1.75 inch spine split in the middle and a little rust on the top staple, but otherwise a great mid-grade copy! Witchcraft 4 VG+ $695

Next up is a real hard to find book. Only 3 copies on the census and no recorded GPA sales. Low grade, but book is complete and cover/CF are still attached. True Sport Picture Stories Vol. 3 #10 GD $195

Let's get the party started again with some ghoulish covers. First up is a copy of Strange Mysteries 16. Just look at the purples on this cover. The headlights ain't bad either! About to hit the road, but before I do, here's a fun cover of one of my favorite issues in the series. This book has been getting so hot these snowmen might just melt! Book looks like a 6.0+ copy in hand, but is graded lower due to a detached centerfold (comic was only manufactured with one staple). As such, an amazing deal on a really nice presenting copy! Strange Adventures 79 VG/FN $369

Okay I lied. Here is one more: a classic Ross Andru cover with some great Toth and Nick Cardy interior art. Only 11 copies of this book exist on the census so you know it's rare, especially in mid/high grade. Last CGC 4.5 copy sold for $850 and mycomicshop is asking for $1k+ for their copy making this a screaming deal! This book was manufactured without a top staple, but everything is still securely attached to the bottom one. Out of the Shadows 11 VG/FN $669

Last one for now is a beauty of an L.B. Cole cover. I heard through the grapevine that precode war books are the next precode horror books...well if they are, this book should be one of the most sought after in my opinion. The reds really pop on this issue in hand, and with only 12 issues currently on the census, there might not be enough copies to go around once the general public catches on! Horrors of War 12 VF $769
