  1. I'm surprised at how many people stopped enjoying UXM prior to issue 200. Especially considering this is a Copper Age forum. What, no love for Inferno, Fall of the Mutants, or X-Tinction Agenda? What about the coming of Bishop? I loved that stuff as a kid.

    I liked that stuff too!

These X-Men books in the 200's is also the reason I liked Banshee as a character.

The issues with Freeedom Force when the Reavers attacked Muir Island

The Shadow King taking control of Legion

Wolverine struggling with his healing factor

    X-Tinction Agenda

    Awesome Jim Lee Art

YES, there were some bad stories, but there was some good material as well.

  2. I still like many of the stories in the 227 - 280 range. However, I got really turned off by stories and John Romita Jr. art in the early 300's.

Once the Age of Apocalypse was over, that was an easy place to quit buying the series.

(However, I have gone back and purchased those books after the AOA as I am trying to complete and X-Men run from beginning to end.)

  3. I always start thinking more about my old toys at this time of year.

My best Christmas present ever was a GI Joe USS Flagg. My dad and uncle spent a good couple of hours w/me putting it together on Boxing Day... and I spend an insane amount of hours playing with it for years afterwards.

GI Joe and Transformers toys were the best! I still plan on buying a generation one Optimus Prime at some point.

  4. By the end of season 3 I think either Merle or Darryl will be dead, and it will be a Kane and Abel kind of death for sure. Brother will murder a brother.

This was a really good episode.

I am actually okay with the character of Michonne on film actually. I wasn't too happy with the Governor's TV character till the last 5 minutes of last night's episode so hopefully Kirkman will deliver finally the Governor fans want.

Governor should finally start to resemble his true comic self because you can tell at the end of the episode he looked crazy and filled with hate. Thank God. :headbang:

This would make for good TV!

  5. Just got a chance to finally write my thoughts on last nights episode.

Very excited to see Tyrese. Very curious about his group. Who is the woman in the group. What is is with the guy with glasses?

Loved the conversation betweem Carol and Angel. Lesbians! lol!

The action scenes were really good! Loved the biting heads in the battle between the Governor and Michonne.

Looks like there is a lot that is going to happen in the second half of the season! Will give my theories later. Very excited!
