  1. Negan seems to be extremely well liked or absolutely hated (that would be me) by comic book guys and gals. How do you think he will be received by TV viewers if he goes down the same path that he walks in the books ?

My first impression of Jeffrey Dean Morgan was in Supernaturals, and he really rocked it in those 2 short seasons he was on. I think the casting for Negan is spot on and based on his interviews when he accepted the role it had to be spot on. So I can see some serious "Life imitating art" coming.

Giving the viewers some serious sick to the stomach feeling. My take is "Bye Bye Carl"

  2. Amazing Spiderman 700 later printings have some pretty low prints. I've been picking these up whenever I see em.

    Comichron states the following

    1st - 200900

    2nd - 49355

    3rd print - 7662 (Big Drop)

    4th print - 5334 (Even smaller)

5th print - not even listed (came out in August 2013) guessing under 2K - Hard to find and in high grade - best copy I have found in the wild is about a 9.0

I figure with all the spiderman variant talks these copies should be on everyone's watch list.

  3. My top three that I have been picking up whenever I see em cheap or cheaper are

Batman Sword of Azrael 1 (1st Azrael)

    Longshot 1 - (1st Longshot & Spiral)

    Preacher 13 - (1st Herr Starr)

and the biggest sleeper to me is Amazing Spiderman 30 - (1st Morlun and Campbell cover)

Dont lose your Mojo and add Longshot #3 to that list

ASM #30 is another big one for me.. Sold 5 for 30.00 each this year

Mojo totally forgot that one, yeah the whole 6 issue story line is worth picking up on the down low.

  4. Cosplay is a factor, how many kids you see wearing Deadpool hoodies and tshirts, every teenage loves this character. Deadpool finally gets a movie years after being released, and let's face it in the first two years of the character was popular but took off to the stratosphere with his monthly series.

Gwen has cosplay appeal big time, Harley has cosplay appeal - woman are coming into the market more and more and you see 1st appearances of the character moving up do to demand. Just watching Comic Book Men, every 2nd episode a woman comes in to buy a popular first appearance of a character.

I don't have any investment in SG as I missed the boat big time on this, and everyday I regret it. I could probably suck it up to buy a few Edge 2 at around 100.00 bills however I have other key issues that being purchased at the time. I am envious anyone who got the jump on this, as Gwen will be here for a long time. Nothing would shock me if 616 Peter winds up with her somewhere down the road for nostalgia sakes.

    Just my 2 cents.

  5. hit three Five below and nothing

it did look like the one near Elmhurst was picked clean so maybe there is truth to that story

So I just went to the 99 cent depot and look what I found

    99cent.jpg

    :applause: amazing!

    yes!

And not just that, the girl was so happy I bought it for 0.99 cents, she gave me a free massage!

    Now that's a Happy Ending!

  6. The Stuff of Legend FCBD 2009 and Volume 1: The Dark Book 1 First Print are on Ebay for big dollars. I'm pretty sure I have one of these issues, but I thought the print run was fairly high so any indicators the sudden increase. All the listings are for B.I.N's and no auctions.

I heard the Disney movie rumor, but that was a while ago.

  7. These two are big time sleepers,

138 - First Eternity (Pretty much a sure in to appear in Avengers 3 & 4

146 - Hands down the sexiest Ditko cover page featuring the Doc. I've been picking these up as often as possible, this issue will be one on everybody's list to get framed on the wall.

  8.

Tom Smykowski: It was a "Deadpoool Secret wars" cover. You see, it would be this cover that you would put on the shelf... and no one would have an idea what was drawn on it that you could make out.

Michael Bolton: That's the worst idea I've ever heard in my life, Tom.

Samir: Yes, this is horrible, this idea.
