I have a magazine called Comics Collector dated Spring 1984 that shows the Nightwing costume that will be in the comic. Pretty sure this magazine came out first and is the actual first appearance of Nightwing. Great story and article about the Titans!

The problem with ST111 - 2nd Doc and Mordo is like the skeleton you have in the closet. (yes we all have one of those one nighters, that even your best friend would laugh at you for doing). This is how to describe this issue. It's a nice to have (sex), but not if you have to pay for it (nice)!

And ST146 best Ditko cover hands down!

ST 110 - Investment this is clearly the best book to invest in.

ST 115 - Has some outside interest - early Spidey and 2nd Sandman. Will appreciate in value but not anywhere ST 110 will.

ST 126 - Book is hot hot hot - has lots of legs for sure, if you can find a high grade this one will only keep climbing

ST 138 - Eternity Eternity Eternity, this book is a sleeper, Eternity is everywhere Cosmic stories (Ala Guardians Etc... ) Warlock, Thanos, and if Avengers 3 goes in that direction this will be a Mega Sleeper

ST 169 - I agree with Gadzukes - SEXY COVER - not so much a sleeper anymore but a keeper in high grade

This is just my opinion, but then I'm partial to the Doc.

these in my opinion will have some huge upswing, 126 is already climbing high the past year in anticipation to the film.

annihilation Conquest: Starlord 1 is undervalued for sure as noted. Picked it up yesterday at the local shop and after reading it, this is the beginning of the regular team. Groot and Rocket become besties. Sleeper pick and low printed also.

Strange Tales 110 has not come even close to peeking. Just check out all GOTG first appearances going for crazy coin right now. When the movie hits theatres watch out, prices will skyrocket!

Seen GOTG matinee today. Have to say the hype is warranted, loved every minute of it. Never thought I would ever enjoy talking raccoon and a tree as much as i did. Howard end scene was priceless, but best scene was "I need that guys eye" LMAO still as I type this!

I have been stacking up on these when ever I see them in the wild and figure it's going to be a 3 digit book eventually based on the scarcity.

Hulk is 2nd followed by FF1. Showcase 9 still on list at 19 yuck.

I personally am not a Darkhawk fan, but have to admit he is getting more and more spotlight on him, and can see this issue still undervalued.

New Overstreet bumped up to 9K for 9.2

Batman 609 will be the book to get if Hush gets hot. First apperance or not, it's the book that will be able to be chased, so thats the book collectors will gravitate towards. Maybe 619 to some extent, but thats just the " Hush" name.

 

You can go in circles all you want fellas, you are all right, and all wrong. It's a personal opinion ( do you follow websters or not? )

 

Even when you follow traditional comic book guidlines ( being in the story ) Which book is " chosen" can be confusing.

 

Darkseid, Red Sonja, Ultron all confuse me and there are tons more.

 

The fact is, if the character is important, all of these early appearances are important. Collect what you want to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I agree that 609 and 619 are the ones to pick up. I feel 619 showing Hush in full and battling Bats will be the better of the two as Tommy is shown as the bad guy in costume. Similar to Spider-man 14 Goblin and Spider-man 37 first Norman, but vice versa in order of appearance. Loved that story line, and I hope if Snyder is bringing him in, it's done with style.
