  1. Have a feeling Thanos Annual that sold out will be a keeper. It is a bridge comic to Starlin's next story line in August and I love me some Starlin on Thanos that's for sure.
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JUSTICE-LEAGUE-ADVENTURES-13-FIRST-ALL-STAR-RARE-TOYS-R-US-VARIANT-/171345927968?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item27e5035f20 I didn't even know about this variant! Probably be gone by today.
  3. Always loved this cover, but was already way too steep for me to pick up.
  4. Daredevil 229 - First Daredevil's mom, who doesn't love a nun!
  5. Just noticed this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Justice-League-Adventures-13-Jan-2003-DC-NM-/231245190877?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item35d74996dd and the only copy on Ebay right now, going to have to send my copies for grading.
  6. Hey it's me that Crazy Zack1973, sorry was at work past few days, just caught up on this thread and wow missed some laughs. What is CPG, anyone have a link for this website?
  7. So as per Diamond Preview, Superior Spiderman will be starting back up again at issue #32, might have been a good thing to hang on to the previous run.
  8. Spiderman 263 (First Spiderkid) pssss going to be hot. Might be a major player in Slotts Spider Verse in November.
  9. http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/92974/20140527/marvel-doctor-strange-movie.htm Some recent news, guessing they will have a director before the end of June this year.
  10. X-men 130 first Dazzler and Longshot #1 are both rumored to be in Age of Apocalypse next movie, probably why they are being noticed.
  11. Is it me or has Manifest Destiny really cooled down lately?
  12. I don't believe that this is what it is, let's face it the hobby has been booming since the movies have been produced properly the past decade. The hobby was nearly decapitated after the 90's, and has become not only collectible for collectors like myself, but for jumping on points for the next generation. My 2.5 year old already can tell you the name of all the avengers in the movie and hes not even 3. He loves Spiderman and not from seeing my comics, but because he is on everything for toddlers from clothes to toys etc... The hobby is finally becoming recognized by more then my nerd self, and it is being appreciated by those that would never have considered giving it a try. Walking dead TV show spurred new readers to the comic who originally thought it was always a tv show first. Cosplay at cons is being recognized by tons of online media, and contest with great prizes have been given away at many cons. The thing is Comics are at an all time high, and collectors / speculators are buying what they can when they can. Sure Justice league adventures 13. superman adventures 5 and batman adventures 12 have suddenly become hot, but that is the nature of the business. What is hot one day may be cold the next, however sometimes hot becomes blistering and I personally don't want to miss out.
  13. I feel that X-Men 248 first Jim Lee needs to be added to this list, he is DC's main man now and let's face it this issue is where it all started. One of the best artists if not the best in the last 25 years and this issue should be in everyone's collection.
  14. I have a stack of them and half of them are wrapped badly, has to be a know issue. The silver 2nd prints and UPC seem to be the way to go as the wrap is perfect on these issues. Could explain the recent premium on these 2.
  15. That's the beauty of why this comic is the perfect storm, she's coming to New 52 this year, and as long as it is also not a single issue, this will be the must have book if the character is incorporated into a team. DC is taking the reigns with female heroes & villains and it is paying off.
  16. Justice league Adventures 13 (First All Star) no copies remaining, and only ones left are in full sets. I was able to score a nice grade at the LCS and this will be the next Livewire with DC introducing her to 52 this year.
  17. I personally didn't care too much for Morlun, but did enjoy Ezekiel's character. However Morlun has the potential to be a major pain in all the marvel characters given the right story line. So hopefully Spider Verse has some lasting effects.
  18. Looks like Longshot (Marvel) is finally getting some due, had a short mini series this year, and is rumored to be a big player in a major cross over. Bryan Singer mentioned in a recent interview that both Longshot and Dazzler may be in the next film. High Grade Longshot 1 and X-men 130 are the top dogs to buy.
  19. Well Slott has another big plan Spider-Verse in November - main villain "Morlun", getting lots of spotlight with talks of him in Amazing Spiderman 3 too. Time to stack up on Spiderman 30. Added bonus S.Campbell cover.
  20. It makes me laugh because in X-factor 23 he's in a few panels, again not enough to rate first appearance but cameo? He's in there more then Wolverine in Hulk 180 and more the Doomsday in Man of Steel 17, but alas not enough? Again the killer for that book is X-factor 24 with a great full cover. I do agree on the book though, have been buying them when seen,
  21. Next big DC Character ala (Harley Quinn & Livewire) - Justice League Adventures #13 first "All Star - AKA Olivia Dawson" - yep you heard it here first. Will be making her way to DC52 soon.
  22. Sounds like the "comic book guy" from the Simpsons owned the store. I wouldn't have given him a dime after that nonsense.
  23. I honestly think the print run for Outcasts will be insane, that unless they have an RRP the value will be similar to what happen when Haunt #1 came out. Just feel like Kirkman reminds me how popular Bendis was a few years back, and eventually a new writer will come around that will steal the spotlight from him. I will buy one or two, but only to read, as any long term gain will be up in the air.
  24. Nice job Jimmy, I was thinking of putting mine up too, have only one copy of it right now in high grade.
