  1. GI Joe 21 Silent Interlude Hardcover with backup story and preliminary pencil section along with notes of the story. 30th Anniversary Edition Amazon wants over $800 for this. The seller must be on drugs. Only ones have sold for around $20-$30 on eBay and I don't see any others available. I will take the high if I am the only one selling $30 Sold
  2. Luke and the Landspeeder This is the general release and NOT the SDCC version. The SDCC had the exact same figure with slight paint wash I believe but the same accessories. SDCC had a rotating turbine on the speeder. Everything else is the same. Luke features his rifle, poncho, floppy hat with non-removable glasses, macrobinoculars, lightsaber hilt, lightsaber blade. Luke features his soft goods shirt with utility belt where the saber can be hung from. Speeder allows for the rifle to be mounted on the side. There is a storage compartment on one side of the rear where you can store the saber hilt and macrobinoculars. You can store the poncho and hat behind the back seat. The other compartment in the rear opens to reveal an engine component. The front hood opens to show the engine. Speeder has a plastic stand to emulate the hovering effect. See that little notch on the passenger side? That allows you to mount R2-D2 on the side while C-3PO rides shot gun. You would have to find those two figures though... oh wait... see above. My price $old
  3. Star Wars the Black Series R2-D2 and C-3PO R2-D2 is originally from the first release and includes the lightsaber hilt, rocket boosters, two "arms", sensorscope, panel piece to conceal the connection point in the dome. He has the retractable leg that raises and lowers by turning the head. He has the replacement leg panels for when you remove the rocket boosters. C-3PO is from the Walgreens Exclusive release with the silver leg. Paint is in excellent shape on all of these. You don't see 'clean' R2-D2 too often. The last release had a dirty wash to it and the other was the mud release for dagobah. MIB prices for R2 can reach around the $80 - $100. Cheapest I see the re-release of this on eBay is $66.89 with free shipping My price for the pair. $40 SOLD
  4. Hallmark Saturday Morning Cartoons - Looney Tunes $50 Tested and works - TV lights up and it plays the instrumentals of that's all folks.
  5. 1991 Star Trek Hallmark Ornament Honestly, never used for more than a few minutes. I tried to sneak it on the Christmas tree as a kid and was promptly denied. Been in the box for almost thirty years. Box shows wear but the tabs are all in tact. As you can see the piece is clean. I cannot test it but assume it works as I have a different style christmas lights and as I said, this was shut down as part of Christmas All paperwork present $65
  6. I know what my newest board avatar is going to be.
  7. I don't have a homeowners association. Village code. I think I would welcome a homeowners association as many of us would have overturned some of the nonsense .
  8. I strongly recommend staying away from AFA Joes. With that said, I would pay attention to three places where they are sold on a regular basis: Hakes eBay Facebook Group GI Joe 1982-1994 You can get a decent gauge on what they sell for by looking up realized auctions and BINs and to see what things were offered for in the FB Group. Again last summer I almost caved and bought one and when I looked at the figure closely I noticed that the elbows were cracked. The subgrade for the figure was the usual 85, but there was no way given the split elbows that the grade was still true. We have seen the figures where the rubber band snaps on the graded piece leaving a floppy figures sealed on the card, but the broken elbows were alarming because it means that the plastic itself had further degraded. Just be careful.
  9. Great question but might be an alternative to the answer you seek. Every top sale impacts all lower tiers. So, to be honest, I am very interested in the outcome to the auction for Amazing Fantasy 15 in a blue label 9.6. on of all places, Heritage. The current bid with the buyer's premium is at $2,880,000 and that is before tax. There are nine days remaining before the live auction and quite a few believe this is going to surpass the Action 1 in a 9.0 sale. Why am I heavily interested in this? I cannot afford and will never afford a 9.6. However, I have a 1.8, 3.5 and a 6.0. If history holds true, the more that the 9.6 goes for, the more interest there will be in 'affordable' copies of the book. That means that there is a higher demand for what is more obtainable. If the auction of the 9.6 is later revealed to be a sham, then the value of my items may not only decrease but there is a loss of faith in the market in general. People no longer trust that the item they are buying has the value they believe it does. The value of my items may not only stagnate but decrease in value as the prospective customer base is alienated from participating in future purchases. Now again, to take your position, could this piece of investigative journalism also be a sham? Absolutely. The intent there is to then destabilize what is then a legitimate market in an effort to eliminate growth or create a declination of value for a multitude of reasons. Again, such actions turn off the customer base which hesitates at participating in future purchases. The whole thing stinks no matter you believe the video or not to be honest.
  10. That's... What... She... Said... Now you idgiots have me doing it...
  11. I would text and ask just to see the response I would get but she already looked at me like a insufficiently_thoughtful_person for thinking we were going to a place in California this evening. I am still giggling over that. It was a nice place and hopefully one day I get to go.
