  1. Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu Gets In On The Fast & Furious Family Meme Trend https://screenrant.com/fast-furious-dom-family-meme-simu-liu-image/
  2. Best exchange on the ol' Gram. I was watching their argument while standing in line. I laughed and liked.
  3. There are a bunch of people remarking on the ol' IG something similar. At 14,000 units though that might be a bit lofty due to the number of people holding out for a stretch goal. I think it is safe to say that the very first stretch goal would be Silver Surfer or at least the second. You never know with these things though. Remember when they did Unicron in 2019 they wound up extending the deadline because people were not impressed at the $600 price tag. Unicron sells for more now, but at the point of sale, it was hard to get people to sign up. At $400, with people waiting for add ons, and a minimum of 14,000 units I am curious as to what happens. Hasbro is forgetting that there is still a sizable part of the collector base that is of the 'wait and see' crowd. It will be interesting to see how quickly they reach 14,000 units without a bonus. As an aside, I just realized as I wrote this that if the body is the same then Hasbro is definitely saving on some of the joints and connection points as well as some other parts to make this instead of having to develop it from scratch.
  4. I know that you're messing around. Greggy knows you're messing around. But given the climate lately on CGC and grading, I don't know if the Pokemon guys know you are joking around. I am afraid of the Pokemon guys.
  5. Ouch. I have never said that nor even joked by saying that.
  6. Yeah... I think it is going there. I broke out the Imperial Flagship last night to justify buying another big set. I really am paring down. The best was when I priced this I was the cheapest American seller on Bricklink albeit above the average going rate / FMV. I was the cheapest on eBay but I priced it at what I would get after fees. And yet, some people still complained and mocked the for sale listing. If they were to behave in the comics world the way they behave there they would be blacklisted. I sold the Imperial Flagship last night for $1200 + shipping. I think I want a clear out another 'bin' of stuff today. As a bonus, while looking at bins in my storage room, I found another 25gallon rubbermaid that I thought was filled with action figures or old toys and things. Turns out it was a leftover container from my brother of clothes. That was a nice surprise as that is going straight to my parent's house. They were not happy about it but...
  7. This was just posted in the FB group - comic swipes
  8. Hasbro posted a teaser. @fantastic_four - I cannot believe I am saying this at my age. Going by the scale presented in the image of Reed compared to the foot. Is it bigger, smaller, or about the same size as the Sentinel?
  9. Halab Sentinel was $350? It will be interesting to see what this does. I believe Galactus is a lock to be made. But I wonder if it will outsell the Sentinel. You have Galactus which might be more desirable than a Sentinel but you only need one Galactus while you army built the Sentinel.
  10. I respect the hustle. They keep trying. Canceled the sale and blocked.
  11. I really have no idea what is going on here.
  12. You know... I stopped even looking in the direction of MP Transformers... but... What does Haslab think it is going to say about a Star Saber that has not already been said with the MP that was released? https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/11668
  13. And btw... like I once mentioned, I sold off my 1st Kang's when raising money for a house. I know it is worth 5-6x what I paid for it... but if the character is going to get this cool. I might want to buy a copy back..
  14. Soooooo you are saying that we could have.... a "Citadel of Kangs" omg omg omg omg omg
  15. I think you are right. I believe that Marvel wants to bring Loki back into the mainline MCU and that might have been the way. Out of all of the old contracts, Evans, Downey Jr, ScarJo... Hemsworth and Hiddleston have expressed a lot of interest in continuing their portrayal of their respective characters. We can thank Taika Waititi for that. So, I am guessing as long as we want to see them, and they are having fun playing the part, Loki and Thor are here to stay and it would be a shame not to have them part of the mainline MCU.
  16. I think that was the point. The chatterbox was the benevolent Kang. But, what is coming will not be such a chatterbox and thus, not so benevolent either.
  17. You know what was one of the best parts of that night? Our host seemed genuinely pleased NOT to talk about comics and enjoyed sharing his experience seeing Zeppelin at the reunion charity gig at the o2 Arena back in 2007.
  18. I have grown to hate NYC I am not a fan of the dump trucks bouncing down the street, the homeless and the mentally ill who have seized control of the subway system and the noise and nonsense. Even things I have loved doing I have scaled back on in recent years with the pandemic making me vacate certain activities even more. I am more than happy to watch the Yankees from my couch. I don't need to travel to the Bronx during the summer. Even something I normally like doing, which is going to the Mt Carmel Feast in Williamsburg is something I can live without. My friends wanted me to go to this past weekend for the lift. I'm good. Also, the last time I went one of the guys on the giglio (da geal) with a microphone recognized me in the crowd and yelled out my name announcing I was there. . I like to have some degree of anonymity when I go to things like this.
  19. I sold the other one for way more than what Target is asking for it. Back in December I think it was $29.99 to be honest. I still have one that I put to the side for now. I didn't include it in my FS thread this last weekend... but ... I cannot keep it all and if I ordered the Bugle... and we are five months away from another modular house... Time to tidy up some more of the collections. Working from home made me do some deep soul searching
  20. I have two questions but I am going to make two separate posts about it. I just received a notice by mistake from Bricklink about complying with EU sales and VAT with online chatter revealing that some sellers are just walking away from Bricklink over this to sell complete Lego sets on eBay under the Global Shipping Program. I do not sell on Bricklink so that is why I say that it was received in error. I see that Marauders Gun Runners who make third party accessories for 3.75" action figures (GI Joe) have abandoned EU sales alltogether. I also only use the eBay Global Shipping Program. It looks like real changes are coming outside the US as well with enough EU changes that people will simply not sell to anyone within the EU. Another mom and pop type store that sells different radius and custom Lego train track has also shut down EU sales.
