  1. For anyone that missed a 6" Black Series Mando and Child. It's up on Target at cost for $36.99 https://www.target.com/p/star-wars-the-black-series-din-djarin-the-mandalorian-and-the-child/-/A-80173140?fbclid=IwAR3Pg0YbOwyGmR8ga2iiKyZE2RsCXpE6EFmrDOSiXF27N9UiTauwxFgmGJg
  2. I have no problem moderating an all out private debate. He and I do not always see eye to eye but he knows I will not hump the button on him and I assume the same is held for me. I would love to hear the actual unfiltered debate between the two.
  3. I am debating the pickup truck that I would actually keep in the living room on display but that depends on whether or not I find some Star Wars sets that I want to sell to justify more Lego. No, I am not selling the Ghost or either Phantom. BTW... did you see the Lego interview that has been making the rounds. Look for smaller sized sets. Lego realizes that their product is getting expensive and inaccessible for kids. In a recent interview they said that they are trying to scale down this years assortment to have the same features and details but at a lower price point. That's why the X-Wing is smaller than the previous but went from $90 to $50. People are complaining about the newest Slave-1 being called Boba Fett's ship. They should be complaining about how small it is. For a Mandalorian version of Slave-1 when it was rumored I was sincerely hoping for a slightly larger model than the previous anniversary edition with a multiple person cockpit as well as seats for a rotating interior. Now it looks like things are going to get even smaller. They are using the 1999 2 x 4 brick as a carbonite slab in the latest model rather than the molded one due to the size. It's awkward. I want... https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/pickup-truck-10290
  4. Spider-Man 3 comes out first or doctor strange 2?
  5. What do we get next? I think it’s Hawkeye? Supposedly I have to see Black Widow before that though.
  6. I don’t know if this was the best of the three series but Loki was definitely the most important series in terms of the future direction of the MCU.
  7. Cannot sleep. Getting up in an hour anyway to watch Loki. Despite me paring down collections, this thread is a bad influence. @Brandon Shepherd is a bad influence. I hate you all. (nah, I just say that to cast the blame to someone else.) Double Points it is...
  8. If they do that let's send in the same set of books to multiple locations to see who has the softest grades and then send in all future submissions to that location. Then we don't tell anyone and it's ka-ching time $$$$ !!!!!
  9. I have central air up here. It was a must. Flood insurance is required even here for certain parts of LI. But... to be fair... most, if not all of my comics are up for sale sometime after 3,274 days + ten months.
  10. It's oppressively hot in June and July... and August... I went to Disney in July of 2018. My lord. Most everyone that stays there year round stays inside those three months it seems. I stepped outside and melted. And let's talk about Palmetto Bugs. Dear Florida, You can call it anything you want. It's still a cockroach and the only time we see them up north at that size are in abandoned crack houses in the Bronx and certain areas of Long Island. Sincerely, New York
  11. I think I am putting my plans together to leave NY in 3,274 more days. Florida is on the list.
  12. Apparently, Amazon can find my house just fine the other 70-100 times I place an order through them. Now I am debating whether or not to order another one or just pass along Mando on his own as he was the only other one from the assortment I bought.
  13. I did not buy Galvatron but I know that a sizable number of the arms were assembled incorrectly and shipped out. So if you are opening, check the arms at the shoulder. There are some self fix it tutorials online for him to disassemble and then fix it... but... yeah.
  14. I gotcha... But I don't think that is unavoidable to be honest. It's the human degree of error that you are dealing with.
  15. Ehh... I think that certain defects might be weighed with a slight bit more gravity than others by certain graders. So while you might be hard on a book with a few defects on one day, you would be soft on a different book the next because they had different defects. Grading in of itself is slightly subjective and there will always be a slight margin of wiggle room especially in collectables when you get to that 5.0-8.0 range where each grade could be +/- .5
  16. I would love to hear this argument without the mods giving anyone a strike. PM me if you want. I actually want to hear the argument.
  17. I was wondering when someone would pick up on that. I have a shot at saying it's the best 3.5 out there That's what makes me think that sometimes it might grade higher... then there are times that I think, leave it be.
  18. Thread closed and @Ghastly542454’s book just shipped along with weekend sales. Walked to the post office and it’s disgusting out here on Long Island. Stopped across the street and it’s a sign. How much should I offer for the glass ?
