PayPal / Cash if Local Pick Up No HOS, Probation List Members, Creepy Problem Children or Drama Llamas or any of their shills. No Returns on CGC Slabs Timestamp via PM or Public Claim gets the item. I don't care if you take it here or there... we go by timestamp. However, straight up taking it now publicly will beat any negotiation on anything. I am not big on negotiations but I will listen and sometimes even entertain. Since I am working from home I ship out same or next day that you pay.
  4. I didn't forget. They will still have to report it. They still have to file the paperwork demonstrating a loss. No one is saving the receipt from a used high chair. So at that point is is either paid in taxes as if they are making a profit, it is receiving an assigned value with no proof of documentation but in many cases you are hoping for the government to have common sense. Either way, I see a market decline in so far as purchases and customer base for books $100 and under especially even more so in the $50 or under crowd. I am not afraid of paying taxes, but I firmly believe that the market FOR CERTAIN LEVEL BOOKS will decline in 2023 once people start getting hit with 2022 love letters in the mail from the IRS.
  5. "Woke up" is more commonly used. "Waked up" is awkward albeit correct. @ADAMANTIUM doesn't Kav needle you about things not being a sentence?
  6. You are missing a key component there. As a customer of yours and seller to you, (Just sent your invoice) there are many lower value books changing hands. Many of the people that you sell to, and I have sold to are looking to flip those books. Your competition is also your customer. With many people dropping out, the customer base shrinks for that tier book. Now, guys like Metropolis and Bob who regularly sell books in the four to five figures will experience business as usual. If anything higher value books will increase in value as they are assigned price tags to compensate for the lack of growth, if not decline in the smaller books. They will be fine. Again though. I don't care about comics. It is the average homeowner and others who scrape by. I know several people who sell their used things from around the house that are going to get a surprise in 2023. These are people not running a business but using eBay to generate some money to get rid of old things that might generate some money that they had laying around that they no longer use. They have asked me about it and I have told them, either donate it to the poor, start figuring out the paperwork or records, or sell it now. They are selling things like clothes, handbags, tools, their children's baby toys, playpens, car seats and anything like that now so they don't have to deal with it. However, I have to be also honest here. There are probably a lot of the modern flippers not paying taxes. Those are the hardcore guys speculating on every moronic variant Marvel can put out. I guarantee you that they are about to become far more selective in their purchases which means that less is being bought.
  7. What Kav is referring to are screen shots I once shared with him that I did the same thing as a seller. Better yet, I hope he is referring to the reverse where I made an offer to a seller for some Strange Adventures comics and he turned down the offer. A day later I get an offer from the seller to buy the same comics for less than my original offer.
  8. Luke and the Landspeeder This is the general release and NOT the SDCC version. The SDCC had the exact same figure with slight paint wash I believe but the same accessories. SDCC had a rotating turbine on the speeder. Everything else is the same. Luke features his rifle, poncho, floppy hat with non-removable glasses, macrobinoculars, lightsaber hilt, lightsaber blade. Luke features his soft goods shirt with utility belt where the saber can be hung from. Speeder allows for the rifle to be mounted on the side. There is a storage compartment on one side of the rear where you can store the saber hilt and macrobinoculars. You can store the poncho and hat behind the back seat. The other compartment in the rear opens to reveal an engine component. The front hood opens to show the engine. Speeder has a plastic stand to emulate the hovering effect. See that little notch on the passenger side? That allows you to mount R2-D2 on the side while C-3PO rides shot gun. You would have to find those two figures though... oh wait... see above. My price $45 $40
  9. The Mandalorian and Grogu... Thought I would keep these, but let's clear out Black Series. Mando is the Beskar armor release. 01 in his series. People seem to be paying $35-45 before shipping and tax for him but those might some older sales. Grogu was $10 retail and still available. Take them both for $40 $35
  10. R2-D2 and C-3PO R2-D2 is originally from the first release and includes the lightsaber hilt, rocket boosters, two "arms", sensorscope, panel piece to conceal the connection point in the dome. He has the retractable leg that raises and lowers by turning the head. He has the replacement leg panels for when you remove the rocket boosters. C-3PO is from the Walgreens Exclusive release with the silver leg. Paint is in excellent shape on all of these. You don't see 'clean' R2-D2 too often. The last release had a dirty wash to it and the other was the mud release for dagobah. MIB prices for R2 can reach around the $80 - $100. Cheapest I see the re-release of this on eBay is $66.89 with free shipping My price or the pair. $60 $55
  11. Why, "You must be kidding !" It's Saturday! Thread Rules These are individually priced and then priced as a group in the last post. If someone claims an individual figure / lot prior to the last post they are then given the opportunity to buy the lot for the group post. If more than one person buys an individual figure / lot then the group listing is moot and dead. If someone takes the group at the group price the thread is effectively closed. Selling Terms I welcome thread crapping - it's entertaining. Worldwide shipping at buyer's expense. Outside the US I ship Priority. Inside the US I ship First Class or Priority. Whatever qualifies and whatever you want. PayPal Only Please I go by timestamp of whoever commits to buying whether that be in public or PM. No HOS, Probation List Members, Problem Children or Drama Llamas Returns are accepted so long as I am notified, and the is placed in the mail upon five days upon receipt of the item. Returns postage is at buyer's expense. Timestamp via PM or Public Claim gets the item. I don't care if you take it here or there... we go by timestamp. However, straight up taking it now publicly will beat any negotiation on anything. I am not big on negotiations but I will listen and sometimes even entertain. Since I am working from home I ship out same or next day that you pay.
  12. People that cannot use or experience difficulty in understanding how to use an ATM machine should not be allowed to use self checkout at any store.
  13. @Jeffro. "That's what Fisionbomb said."
  14. Yeah, this made me smile today. What I found interesting was that even though Hera speaks with an accent that is slightly different than what we are accustomed to, it was the same voice actress that portrayed her in Rebels.
  15. You don't even have to window bag. I pay the extra $5 for them to crack and window bag the book.
  16. Okay... OP should have put the initials on the box but as many have said, CGC is having a hard time with receiving due to volume. So... what is the difference some people ask? It places the liability of problem on CGC. If the box had the initials that it was supposed to and it was received on time then when CGC sees it they would be responsible for the it missing the signing and not the OP. That is important because I will say that those in the CGC customer service office are incredibly nice, fair, understanding, and accommodating to correct mistakes made on behalf of CGC. If CGC forgot to grab books for a specific signing, I could easily see them reaching out to the artist to ask the artist to sign it and take care of the issue for the customer. We have complained about TAT's, processing, encapsulation and other things but we have rarely seen an issue with customer service. However, in this case it is moot because the OP did not write the letters on the side.
