  1. Keep the best of the Antman books. Keep the JIM. Walk around your house and do a hard cull to get rid of all the $5-100 items you really do not need. You will be amazed at how quickly it adds up. The JIM presents VERY well for the grade.
  2. If I were anyone in CGC I would be embarrassed by what I am about to post. The picture below is the envelope I received in the mail today from the US State Department. Look at the postmark. This was sent out on May 5th. I sent the Turtles book in back in February. I sent my old passport in to be renewed after that. Who’s turnaround times are better? CGC or the US State Department’s? Why, the US State Department. My book is still in “received”. I sent my old passport in and received it back in one envelope along with the new one and the travel card in separate envelopes in a shorter amount of time than the turtle's book. Meanwhile, let's take solicitations for a signing with Diego Luna, Roy Thomas and another round of autograph signings with Bagley. So I did the math again and unfortunately I think I MUST renew my membership this year because I am afraid that with current turnaround times extending books into 2022, that my books will get caught in limbo if I cancel my membership in October. My books are NOT getting graded in October. Turnaround times across the board are insane and the price increase is not justified. Again, don't brag about increasing the facilities and the increase in grader hirings in order to justify the cost when turnaround times continue to increase. Current turnaround times with a CCS press push CGC submissions returned around February / March 2022. So, yeah. Renew again in October, send out as much as I can and then call it a day in 2022 after I have everything back.
  3. It's in reference to a high profile murder. "I'm not saying what he did was right, but I can understand it." I can't post it.
  4. My aunt bought something that was lost in the mail for a couple of weeks. Yesterday it was delivered with giant tears in the box. She received the contents that she ordered but she also found paperweights in her box. Apparently they came loose from inside someone else's shipment and made their way in hers. I think next year if I sell through Comiclink or Metropolis I will hand deliver them to their office or at a show. This is getting ridiculous.
  5. Not true, that form comes in 2023. The new law goes into effect on January 1st, 2022. "We have already been over this." It is also $600 cumulative across the reporting year and not $600 per transaction.
  6. I thought this thread was locked to be honest. Good find. I remember when this happened. Ouch all around. The thread was not trimmed from 221 pages to 120 though. This thread was started before the board changes so only half of what we can currently post on a page would fit. Basically before the board changes threads would be twice as long as they are now. However, I think it is safe to say that basically ten pages from this original thread were definitely scrubbed. This deserves a specific meme and hopefully it sums it up for you @ExNihilo
  7. Well this was from the end of February... but now that you mention it, I do wonder what kind of ten year old threads you can bump. Go take a look and let us know.
  8. Bump... Just for the entertainment value alone on this cold and rainy long island evening.
  9. I have a serious problem here. I am not getting tired of my new "Which CGC didn't have to do" meme...
  10. Still at received. Watch... I’m going to keep posting and due to process of elimination they go this Buzzetta guy seems to be the last guy left sayin’ stuff so that must be his book there. Tear it in half and slab it. Lol 😂
  11. I wonder.... part II... I wonder if Fantastic Four is the 'event' movie for Phase 4... I also like the similarity of the logo.
  12. I spent a chunk of time pouring over Mad Mike and even did a few google searches.
  13. Either the multiverse of madness or the quantum realm opens a gateway to Galactus. The one thing that marvel did that was genius was in endgame where they showed that the ancient one was fighting the invasion in New York separate from the avengers. This allows us to believe and accept that the fantastic four have been in the Marvel universe the entire time. We can skip the origin story like we did with Spiderman and just simply move on with the story.
  14. I wonder if Marvel is going to go for it all and release Fantastic Four on 4-4-24 as part of Phase 4 ?
  15. I want to point out that one day digital archaeologists will find the servers that this forum is hosted on and try to make sense of these conversations to see what society was like hundreds if not thousands of years ago. I am happy to do my part here.
  16. Last time I saw this quoted, Columbia Comics got a few weeks off.
  17. Has anyone tried the Peach Mango Angry Orchard Cider ? I am thinking of picking up a six pack as curiosity is getting the better of me.
