  1. Whoa... that Hot Toys one is MUCH better than the sideshow version. I also saw the pricetag that some are asking for new ones. double whoa.
  2. Had an interesting sale this morning. Woke up to the register sound and saw that someone bought a $155 Transformer toy at full ask without even making an offer. As much as I would LOVE full price on this figure I noticed the buyer was located in the Czech Republic and even though I use Global Shipping, I saw that he had 0 feedback and had just made his account today. My first thought was to wonder whose credit card was stolen. Now, there has been a few comments lately as how best to cancel a transaction. In this case, I filed it under the option that there was a problem with the buyer's shipping address. Since you are shifting the blame to the buyer, I am pretty sure that there is no strike on the selling account. If you choose out of stock though then the strike falls on you.
  3. Everything is delayed going through Maryland right now. I just finished with work and opened my door to find my order delivered from Greg Reece. That order was shipped on December 14th.
  4. I remember buying the Sideshow one and opening it up to be so disappointed in the catatonic stare that Indy had. I wound up selling it. Toys McCoy did such a better job on this figure. Congrats. It is a great piece.
  5. I had never heard of these things before. While, I am sure that the guys at CGC have encountered them before I don't think you can guarantee that. I think that Ninja would be better off removing them himself and sending in traditional bag and board and cardboard sandwich in that box since he would be more familiar with the removal process. After all, he is the one that put them in there. They don't seem to be like PGX or CBCS holders which CGC has experience in cracking... so... there is an element of risk.
  6. It's sad. I have to use google to find most anything on the CGC Boards... the only thing it does not work on is the Water Cooler area which is hidden from Google Search bots.
  7. The Cal threads were awesome... The only issue I have ever had with moderation is poofing those specific threads... they were good for a laugh on how things often spiraled far out of control Everything from Jimmy Linguini rapping one of Cal's posts to the back and forth was always comedy gold.
  8. To the n00bz.. Cal has just offered you all a masterclass on how to bring the fun to the party. I have never blocked and cannot block Cal. It's always a fun time when Cal shows up.
  9. I don't think that information ruins the movie in the same way that I do not need to know when Kiefer Sutherland's 'Jack Bauer' took bathroom breaks or ate during each season's '24'. I was merely asking to see if it was explained or there was more to the Maxwell character. But, Maxwell was important to the movie. As I said, it is not a great movie, but it is not as bad as some are making it out to be....
  10. New decade can only bring us a new Cal... Calamerica 3.0
  11. I think it was just an honest mistake or a slip as he meant to say three sides but looking at the book it clearly has four sides. I am just happy we have a @Calamerica thread... I know that eBay handle... anywhere. 2021 is already looking up.
  12. @kav had a good question... and I don't have the time to rewatch the movie. How did Maxwell Lord know about the dreamstone's existence in the first place?
  13. No, an autographed card. But two fun ones.
  14. Wait until you venture into some of the Facebook groups where people are of the mindset to press and grade EVERY book ever printed and where quantity of plastic holders is a measuring stick for one's collection.
  15. That's ridiculous... @Scott =) You are the cgc board software rollout engineer guy right? FIX the boards !
