  1. Well yes and no. What JB got a warning for was very questionable in my mind. What I got a point for was very understandable since it could be read as a threat or insinuation of violence or harm or disruption of one's life by merely posting that there will be 'consequences'. That is why I tagged the mods and explained in a follow up post what I meant by that. (Some of us would never do business with a particular group of others due to what they say and write.) Just because I was a recipient of a point does not mean my viewpoint on reality has changed. Places like the CGC Boards, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Amazon Reviews... It's their sandbox. There is no such thing as free speech on these platforms. You conditionally post at the will of whoever administers the guidelines of that platform. If you don't like it, then find a new sandbox or build your own.
  2. I have a lot of multiples of key books. For example I have 6 graded copies of ASM14 laying around, I have 4 copies of ASM 50... multiples of single digit ASMs... I've thought keeping one copy of each ASM key for myself, selling the run from issue five current along with a lot of other things and chasing after a certain book I have had my eye on or buy another copy of AF15.
  3. Right now I am openly mocking those that paid $100+ for an Lego Ahsoka Tano as an adult minifigure. Lego is releasing the version from the last season of the Clone Wars in a $40 set that you know Amazon will mark down to $32.99. The headpiece uses the same mold as the one everyone is paying $100+ for. Not only that I am sure there will be additional Ahsoka figures once Mando Season 2 arrives. https://www.brothers-brick.com/2020/06/17/lego-reveals-7-new-star-wars-sets-for-summer-2020-including-galaxys-edge-and-upcoming-2020-advent-calendar-news/ I am definitely digging the Lego Disney Star Wars Theme Park Transport and the Ahsoka set.
  4. Hobgoblin was derivative but for some reason it was very captivating... As a reader I was more invested in "Who is the Hobgoblin?" than I was "Who is the Green Goblin?"
  5. I have both... If I had to choose I would go AF15.. I have boxes of comics that I will never open except to replace the bags and boards. Just the way it is. If I want to read it I will go digital.
  6. Don't laugh... When I have to cut a piece of cardboard, I sit down on the floor and cut on top of the plastic shield floor mat that I put my office desk chair on top of to protect the floor. THAT thing is tough and because it is opaque I never notice any scratches or anything.
  7. - It flew by for me. and things really come together in (I think) a better and more cohesive way when binge watched.
  8. That always depends on the estate of the actor. Many of the highest paid actors may not want that done or their image exploited like that.
  9. I finished it... I may have still shed a tear or two. Great ending. I went to YouTube to rewatch the epilogue from the DVD set.
  10. ‘Indiana Jones 5’: David Koepp on Why He’s No Longer Writing the -script My biggest takeaway is that it looks like they are back to square one. https://collider.com/david-koepp-confirms-not-on-indiana-jones-5/
  11. Wait... there was wrestling before Hulk Hogan? I heard of some guy named Bruno... but... only whispers.... whispers.
  12. I have a "Rock" signed autograph from when he was sent to a media relations thing back in 1997 or 1998. I honestly know it is in the house but don't know where it is. It was separate from the autographed baseball stuff that STILL has not been put out. One day...
  13. Steiner Sports... not kidding https://www.steinersports.com/?query=wwf&_ref=p-OLP:m-SEARCH And then each wrestler usually has his own website like 'Naitch who has a store where he will autograph stuff. https://ricflairshop.com/collections/autographed-items However, I feel that Steiner is always the most reliable. There is also an app called Crave the Auto which lets you know where everyone is if you want things signed in person... https://www.cravetheauto.com/
  14. @HighGradeComics Is this Bob's version of Richie's coin flip? This is phenomenal. I expect to see a real world version at shows.
  15. I want to point out that this was around when I first joined up. I lurked on and off for a year before I joined but I remember seeing posts like this and thinking "WHAT THE HELL GOES ON AROUND HERE?!"
  16. thankstoyou if you got it... this was good for $25 off shipping supplies. I helped myself to 75 yards (12 rolls) of eBay tape for $3.84 shipped. 75 yards of packing tape for less than $4... let's see how it is. I usually use Duck HP 260 tape that I buy from Amazon. I figured for $4 let's take a look.
  17. There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plans He refuses to bend he refuses to crawl And he's always at home with his back to the wall And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost And struggles and bleeds as he hangs on his cross And likes to be known as the angry young man Give a moment or two to the angry young man With his foot in his mouth and his heart in his hand He's been stabbed in the back he's been misunderstood It's a comfort to know his intentions are good And he sits in his room with a lock on the door With his maps and his medals laid out on the floor And he likes to be known as the angry young man I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage I found that just surviving was a noble fight I once believed in causes too I had my pointless point of view And life went on no matter who was wrong or right And there's always a place for the angry young man With his fist in the air and his head in the sand And he's never been able to learn from mistakes So he can't understand why his heart always breaks And his honor is pure and his courage is well And he's fair and he's true and he's boring as hell And he'll go to the grave as an angry old man Yes there's always a place for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plans He refuses to bend he refuses to crawl And he's always at home with his back to the wall And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost And struggles and bleeds as he hangs on his cross And likes to be known as the angry young man
  18. At the very least call PayPal and ask them to verify the account. PayPal does not want to deal with chargebacks or things like that. eBay doesn't seem to care since they are never on the hook for anything except for fees. PayPal has in the past told me that a purchase seemed suspicious and maybe it was best not to go through with it.
  19. Ehhh Grand Theft Auto loses is allure once you witness someone get hit and go through the car and end up in the backseat with their head twisted funny then look at you and die.
  20. For some reason the clip shows are included in the Amazon Prime package. I do not remember those shows included when the series was hosted by Netflix. Certain things that they highlight were some major clues as to what was going on. One thing I have noticed is that those that focused on the sci-fi aspect were mostly disappointed. The show seems to focus more on the human aspect and relationships with the sci-fi aspect as the backdrop. I think that is why your favorite episode was man of science, man of faith because that seems to be what the whole show was really about. From wikipedia on that episode: "While "Man of Science, Man of Faith" alludes to a quote in the previous episode where Locke describes himself as a man of faith and Jack as a man of science, writer Damon Lindelof stated that the episode has the title to imply that Jack is both, with the flashback making the empiricist "man of science" facing a miracle while treating a patient."
  21. I agree with you on that. As well dramatized earlier this year (by me), my Samsung TV overheated and had a lil' fire on the inside and melted from the inside out. It was a problem by design where the technology that had these ultra bright and luminous screens led to intense heat. Due to a lack of a proper heating ventilation system the thing melted from the inside out. This new generation of systems already look like they will be doing double duty and will be generating an intense amount of heat. Without a proper ventilation system, you can have the best product in the world, but you are going to disappoint your consumer base if you can only play for an hour at a time before overheating issues come into play. Side note: I have an X-Box One I barely use with the gold membership. I might be cancelling it for the first time this year. Will I still keep my user name if I cancel my gold membership or does it fall into public domain again?
  22. No more floppies. I think it was Flying Donut that said that we will see digital comics released on a monthly basis and then they MAY be collected into Trade Paperbacks to be sold as collections.
  23. Yes I’ve been doing a rewatch with Prime Video with ads. That’s where I got those screen grabs of the Mr Eko scene from. Starting season six again tomorrow.
  24. I find myself absolutely agreeing with this actually. The Mole Man would have to be altered or changed a bit to fit the larger scope of the Marvel Universe. I am not talking about anything crazy but something along the lines of what they did with the Vulture. Making Vulture getting his gear from reclaimed Chitauri tech was actually kind of brilliant. Maybe start the movie up with the FF already in space on a ship that encounters a problem. Mole Man would be brilliant though. Introduce the idea of subterranean monsters and you introduce another new realm to the Marvel Universe. Save Dr Doom for the next big bad like they did with Thanos.
