  2. Before I post some loot... It is important to note that I took advantage of the Crossover Promotion. Cap 47 was a book originally in a Purple CGC holder but I had it cracked and pressed to remove an unsightly spine roll. Joey did an incredible job and it even bumped up a grade and that was when I tried out CBCS just to get an idea what it would be like. Cap 47 will be coming back to Long Island in a couple of months in a CGC holder. Superman 11 was a restored CBCS book that I picked up on CLink. Let's add another early Superman to the CGC set. I am looking forward to receiving these back in CGC holders.
  3. Oh no, I was merely addressing whether or not he was told by CGC that pressing my be required to maintain the grades for the resubmits. He produced the email and it appears to be on the up and up. I agree with you though... there is definite risk in transit no matter the book and in anyone's holder. To me the grade on a book merely represents the assigned grade at the point of grading.
  4. That's all for pics... I will post my loot... then some comments... Going to have dinner in the meantime.
  5. Travis Bickle... when I asked if the mole was real he did a DiNero impression of, "Might be... might be..." It was real. Awesome... this guy was awesome...

  9. As we were leaving on Sunday... this guy was standing on top of the Rick-Mobile saying very "Rick" like things into the bullhorn. Many things were not appropriate for the kids so he would kind of 'whisper" into the bullhorn in so much as one can... kind of 'whoa' did he really say that things with all the little kids around. He was reciting the Get Schwifty lyrics... couple of parents looked upset.
