  1. Post a piece of art under $100 for sale. Some of us are on a budget.
  2. Ah-Ha! You think it could be: Stefano Caselli
  3. Thanks. Bought these & assume it's "G.Mayo" And mail-ordered this sketch cards year ago But forgot to label he card with a name. Maybe an ASPEN comics artist? Somewhere i have a FRANK MILLER auto i'd like some opinions on ... Thanks, all.
  4. I have a few comic books with signatures that i can't quite identify (or guarantee the legitimacy). Does a thread exist to get feedback? Thanks
  5. I have owned 3 stand-up arcade games in the past. (#1.) Original Mario Brothers (in the sewer) (#2.) Arkanoid (#3.) Rampart ... While i never straight-beat any of them; I know i could play 30 minutes on any of them on a single quarter.
  6. Anyone know anything on this guy? Yes, i have little faith; but does the KIRBY auto look legit? I'll assume the rest of the piece is a high school art project, but like the signature.
  7. Tell me more about GL20. An $8.00 cover price! Is it worth it even if i find it? Is the B&W the best variant?
  8. I have the opportunity to buy a mid-grade copy, what is the current going rate for a raw 6.0 & is there upside to a midgrade?
  9. A page of Batman Chronicles (i found super cheap) The fun part is seeing the process or lettering:
  10. LOVE the signed Chromium Gen13. Those were only available by BOX SET, right?
  11. ^ There was a MY LITTLE PONY 1/1 cover once (the 1M'th comic).
  12. Is this considered a Golden Age 'comic book' or something else? Not just comics, SUPER comics!
  13. Is there a CRYPT thread? I couldn't fine one ... In April and June 1954, highly publicized Congressional subcommittee hearings on the effects of comic books upon children left the industry shaken. With the subsequent imposition of a highly restrictive Comics Code, EC Comics publisher Bill Gaines cancelled Tales from the Crypt.
  14. Originally posted this on another board; but worth a look -- Went to a comic shop I only get to visit once or twice a year. They have back issues towards the front. Long Boxes of $1.00 issues in the back. And Short Boxes of $0.25 in a dingy little corner. I almost never look at the $0.25 issues because they are so bad. They are never bagged, and usually the worst brands like Malibu. This particular trip i decided to give it 5 minutes of my attention; Only because i knew that Eternal Warrior 4 was heating up; and Valiant is what you would expect to find in boxes like these ... One book was already peeking out of the box a 1/2 inch; and i knew exactly what it was. It's probably been there 10 years. The cover was ripped & unattached. I bet this is the poorest copy on the planet. What do you do with such an issue? Cut it up & make custom trading cards? Without further ado ... The most heartbreaking $0.25 i have ever spent: . . . . . . . . . . . . . And in a new bag/board - -
  15. I dont know what they are thinking, but a few years back WW ATLANTA tried to compete head to head with HEROESCON
  16. Yesterday on TWITTER: (#1.) JOCK will be drawing Batman 44, was this already announced? (#2.) Artist of LUMBERJANES has stepped down. Will the book cool off?
