  1. Based on how the actor who plays Carl is at almost every convention since the tv show started. I think he's going to die. That way its just Rick vs the Zombies. Kind of like a "what else do I have to lose" punisher take. I was surprised to read that the guys working at the diamond warehouse think the WD is a bad read. Never heard that before!
  2. Why are you guys so slow at sucking to get your favorite celebrities to sign your books? In my personal experience, Only Billie Dee Williams said no. And thats because of my Drake beef.
  3. I watched Aliens the other day for the first time. Was Sigourney Weaver cast just so the Alien would look sexy in comparison? I say, yes.
  4. I really want to keep these, but they cost so much money to get! John K created the Ren and Stimpy tv show, and every time he spoke he sounded just like every character. Great throw back experience this weekend. This was the only sketch variant he has ever done. Not CGC but still so lovely.
  5. Yeah i mean't #8. Sorry I didn't have the issue in front of me. but yeah, I'm just surprised to see a Chuck Dixon scripted comic fetching that kind of cash.
  6. No good books come out in the past two weeks to make money on and this is what this thread has become? Shame. Now can someone explain to me why LCSS' are selling Birds of Prey issue 9 for $15 but on ebay its has BIN for upwards of $30?
  7. I'm confused. Like he's saying you're dead? you're the devil? I'm confused by the suggestion he's making.
  8. Would it still be heating up if you weren't the one selling it on eBay? Promoting your auctions outside of the dedicated eBay forum is In my experience most retailers have a stock pile of Saga #1s that they are waiting for the right time to sell. I know of two stores where the owners are doing this, one being a vintage comic focused retailer. I'm starting to feel like Saga #1 is a circle jerk in terms of its value.
  9. Everyone should buy the Hero Initiative Overstreet Guides!!!!! Help comic charity!!!!
  10. Yes. I will post information if I get any.
  11. I've heard rumours of in store signings but no solid confirmations.
  12. I can wait for that sunday night when the episode airs and all of the viewers get to finally see her in action... The book is going to EXPLODE on ebay. Im excited to see how it pans out. Ill be trolling ebay after the episode airs for sure. I could always do the preacher one, but I'm pretty sure the Michanlone or however your spell her name, issue is going to give me more bang for my buck in the short run. Maybe Governor as well? I don't know. I don't watch the show, I just understand how it effects the market.
  13. I wonder how many university students will google you before taking your classes only to stumble onto this thread. n e wayz I think I'm going to be picking up a WD19. I can pretty much pick one comic from the WD 3 - 90 run and I think 19 is going to be the ringing winner.
  14. State v. Barham, 126 N.H. 631, 495, a.2d 1269, 1985 Lexis 363 (1985). Are calling me a murderer? The holding of that case is that a defendant in a murder trial may not represent themselves. This is the opinion: On appeal from his first degree murder conviction, RSA 630:1-a, the defendant claims that he was effectively denied his rights to self-representation and to a speedy trial. We affirm. On Sunday, August 30, 1981, at about 11:30 a.m., Raymond Barham, then 52 years old, shot and killed Norman Walpole in Wolfeboro. At the time, Walpole was coming home from church with Louise Graham, Barham's ex-wife. Barham left the scene of the shooting immediately. Within an hour, he was arrested in nearby Tuftonboro by Police Chief William Keyes. Chief Keyes found Barham sitting in his car parked on an isolated dirt road. Barham still had his gun and stated that he intended to commit suicide. Barham was taken to the Wolfeboro police station and charged with first degree murder. He was incarcerated at the Carroll County House of Correction pending trial, which was scheduled to begin in May 1982. Attorney Frederick Cox of Wolfeboro was asked to represent Barham. Attorney Cox thereafter entered into plea negotiations with the State and advised Barham to agree to plead guilty to second degree murder in exchange for a recommendation of 30 years to life. Barham, however, wanted to go to trial. On November 30, 1981, Barham wrote to the court expressing dissatisfaction with Attorney Cox. Attorney Harry C. Batchelder was then appointed to represent the defendant, with the defendant's consent. In April 1982, less than one month before trial was scheduled to begin, Attorney Batchelder requested a continuance on his client's behalf. The Trial Court (Wyman, J.) granted the continuance and scheduled trial for October 1982. In May 1982, the defendant indicated to Attorney Batchelder a desire to represent himself. Batchelder told him about Faretta v. California,422 U.S. 806 (1975). On July 2, 1982, Barham wrote to the court citing Faretta and indicating a desire to represent himself. The court responded that it would not allow any further continuances of the October 1982 trial date and that it would not release Attorney Batchelder. It further advised Barham of the right "[a]t... trial . . . to order your counsel to occupy a stand-by relationship [ 126 N.H. 634 ] while you undertake what amounts to pro se representation of yourself. However, in a first degree murder case, the court will not allow you to proceed without any counsel at all." Here's some other legal info: accusations of crime which are false are per se defamation. Character defamation, libel & slander are illegal as are invasion of privacy. Please stop with the nonsense & act like adults. Here's some free legal advice, If you use your last name as your ebay account, make sure your facebook doesn't list your occupation ect. That way when people google you, and go to this thread, they wouldn't see how dumb you are. I said legal advice because you look like a dumb lawyer. I mean, how do you use your lawyer name and link it to these hilarious comic book rants? how do i add that 2cent emoticon thing?
  15. Page 11 is darker than it should be. its almost unnoticeable i've sold 7 since last week. its weird.
  16. I'll add one thing: sending someone a message about one of their auctions, and the way it is priced, such as you did, is not respectful. Period. Don't expect to sing this particular refrain after you have shown disregard for it. HIS FACEBOOK SAYS HE'S A JUDGE AND HE'S TALKING ABOUT JUDGING OTHERS. HAHHAHAHHAHHA
  17. If anyone can actually explain to me how saying I am not jewish is anti-semetic I will leave the boards forever.
  18. when you google his username a facebook shows up and I am 100% sure it is him. Under interests it lists Chew. It also has some funny judge / jury facts but I won't get into that. Google it to see for yourself!
  19. any chance of doing raw books? if you go to the Lyria link you can make that choice!
  20. I did a google search and found the Hulk 340. Also found a hugh jackman sketch variant signed went for under $100 a few months back.
  21. There's only one non-comics signature on that book, right? It's cool and everything, but there are a bunch of Jackman books, and a really cool Hulk 340 with Jackman, McFarlane and a bunch more. I did not know that.
  22. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/UNCANNY-X-MEN-222-CGC-9-8-SSX4-SIGNED-STAN-LEE-CLAREMONT-HUGH-JACKMAN-/170861694756?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item27c8268f24#ht_741wt_907 When I look at this book I can't think of a more epic celebrity signature series book.
  23. I bought ten of each regular cover and three variants. I put the regular covers at BIN $10 and the variants at $25. I now have 6 of the Cover B and three variants. so yes, the regular covers are selling but only one of them.
