A little off topic here and I'm sure it's been announced before but where do the third eye variants come from? Is it a convention, legit variant put out by the publisher or some comic store in the same manner as Larry's variants?

The third eye variant sure was painless to buy.. One click, goes to PayPal. Didn't have to set up an account with third eye which was nice. Now let's hope they ship these out packed up nicely.

Just flipped through Dober.man.
Yes.. All art is Burcham. The 1st story ends saying to be continued in StarGators #1. Not sure if that ever came out. There's some weird 6ish page 2nd story. Then there's a couple pin ups.
Also, the pages are random colors. Some black and white, some red and white and one green and white.

I like them as wellTerrible black and white 80's/90's books are what fuels my collecting habits these days. It's funny, this book is black and white but some pages are red and white.
Here's a scan of the back cover, it promotes one of the company's other books.

I should probably just make this a monthly column.
I have been buying from various threads from Frank in the last few weeks..
When I finally had finished "shopping" Frank sent me a invoice. After I paid I noticed in Franks thread that he had a family emergency. I figured it would be a while before I got my books, no problem, I hoped everything went well for him.
A day later I get a PM telling me that there was a mistake and he had sold one of the books I bought, BUT he had gone out and got a replacement and had shipped everything to me. He didn't have to do this.
Frank is one of the coolest, professional and just great guys to work with on these boards.
For those who buy from Frank, I salute you.

To me, with all these Carl covers, looks like he might be going on his own little adventure.

Amazing Spider-Man #688 Variant is surprising me at the moment. Currently @ $46 with 9 bids and 22 watchers. Over on the Lyria Comic Exchange Website it has a little flame icon next to it to indicate it shows up in most expensive, most active and most watched book in the non-graded modern age books currently on eBay. Who knew?
Nevermind. I got confused with ASM 692

Paul also donated an art piece to Mikes fundraiser that I picked up.
It was shipped fast and with great care. Great guy to deal with with a big heart. <3

Lowballing those Dark Tower HC's in a Clooneython?

I never give specualtion or advice but I had no particular interest in this book for my own collection but have decided to keep a set of #1, and all issues going forward for myself. And I haven't even read an issue yet.
There is a reason, and one day it may come to light.
My advice, hold on to a set of #1s graded for yourself.
"So let it be written, so let it be done."

Bedlam
in Modern Age Comic Books
Posted
Over in the Happy thread, there's some folks that don't like all the swearing that's in the comic. My question is, for those that have read these previews, what's worse? The violence in Bedlam or the swearing in Happy?
