  1. It's the same with all issues 2 & 3, both Cover A and Cover B, you simply don't see many out there. I think these will be the sleepers especially considering the numbers printed; if you want to complete a collection you'll be looking to source those. I was lucky that a retailer here in Melbourne, Australia ordered some; hence why I'm sitting on handful. With the low numbers on all these books it could play out many different ways. The first print of the first few issues (led by the Cover A's) may be where people will eventually land when this book gets even more increased attention. It is still very early days and we are just fortunate to be in on ground floor. I still think there is way too much emphasis on the NYCC (which, when you think about it, is essentially one (albeit a limited print) of four reprints. Still, nice to own one... In regards to the NYCC, I think its all about that print run of 106. Its the smallest printed #1. If 300 people decide they want a full set of #1s, That will be the toughest to get. For me, its not the most desirable, but as far as $$ goes, I don't see how that one could flop if the series maintains the current heat. But if enormous becomes enormous then more than 300 people will want to collect #1s. And with that the NYCC will pretty much be unattainable .. Making it a afterthought down the road. With more people getting mad and just looking at it at a 2nd print
  2. Which one? D? 2nd print Seriously. I will stop my soon but if and this is a big if. If this book gets made into a show that has any kind of success .. Then any book that has been published so far will be valuable because of the low numbers. ANY #1s will be money ( some more.. But all will have value ) The next step is what books will be keys and those haven't even been written.
  3. There's a new Star Wars comic coming out about some charcter that is in the Rebels cartoon. To me I think , who wants that? There is a new generation of kids who will grow up with these new characters I think Disney will, start pimping Miles sooner or later. And sooner or later UF4 will be a key that every collection should have. Get them now for cover if you can and hold em... Or sling them for $20. Either way this book will never be in a $1 box again.
  4. My friends dad has one that only 100 were printed from NYCC that was printed early on. Yea, it's like all those other later printing of #1 they do for cons with the different covers. I got one in my bag at Wizard World Idaho, I'm not collecting those anymore. I want a real first print #1. - the future haven't had my coffee yet.
  5. At one point this studio : http://titmouse.net was going to make a cartoon of Todd. Or at least there were talks. If you dig deep enough through that site, there's a Todd tshirt for sale there. But I check it every now and then and no news
  6. Ant Nick spencer used to pipe in here. It was funny.
  7. As far as I can determine it is the 1st full appearance for at least Ellen  This hobby is incredibly fickle, and often there is little rhyme or reason to anything. I'll probably get rid of my two treasury copies if I can because I don't collect treasury books and they're in my way... another reason people choose to ignore it I'm sure. Its not fickle the Image oversized book is a one-shot never was a series. This current run is the series and its a different company. The tv option and series is the 215 version. Those are all drawbacks for the Treasury. It is totally fickle - the main protagonist (so far) clearly first appears in the treasury edition from Image. The publisher is irrelevant, it is creator owned. Tim has come on here and clearly has stated that was his first unpolished volley into the comic book world. She more polished in this series. Its like the Gambit uncanny x-men 266 versus the annual issue, the comic book market has made its decision. You can choose to rage against the machine but it is what it is. Just like you stated for many post earlier about how you didn't think the NYCC was worth much cause its a second print. Market has decided - not sure what complaining about it will solve. Ha the market hasn't even started.
  8. When variants get 2nd prints, then yes, there are too many. Don't look at Sex Criminals books then, They have a 2nd printing of the 4th printing. These guys got creative and had fun with it.
  9. Is "Encore" French for "2nd print"? No, French for "2nd Print " is NYCC Enormous
