  1. Great comics, Hep! But I've come to expect nothing less than beautiful books in your collection. Here's another mid 60's TV series based adaptation. As I recall, it was a one season wonder.
  2. A couple of newly scanned Spideys. Good morning all.
  3. Agreed Frozen, "Time Tunnel" was canceled far too quickly. This was my favorite show, growing up back then. Irwin Allen sure was a prolific creator, although somewhat formulaic.
  4. Yeah, it was. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons, but lost interest by the 3rd. The 3rd season wasn't that funny, and what humor there was seemed forced.
  5. I'd forgotten I have these. !
  6. I posted these 2 on an earlier thread, before I found this one. Kinda' small, but back when I still had dial-up, didn't want to make files too big. ! A more recent scan/comic .
  7. Hot off the scanner. Looks nicely centered given the established criteria. Good evening all.
  8. That's cool to know, thanks. I thought your comment was referring to the full Spidey profile in the "box" above #10. My #16, and some others in my collection have a "less-full" profile in the box, which I've always attributed to centering.
  9. Y'know, I never noticed the centering until you mentioned it, Cloud. Grading has changed so much since Overstreet's first grading guide, and CGC's grading services, that I don't know as much about grading, as I once thought I did. ! When I picked it up almost 20 years ago, my buddy and I both agreed it was a VF+. The next owner can change/challenge that. !!
  10. I call it a VF+, Hawk.The top staple is slightly indented,
  11. A couple more from my collection. The 10 is another comic which I "upgraded". The #16 is representative of my original 10 which I traded plus some cash, for the "new" 10. (thumbs u
  12. Sweet books, Hepcat! Do you collect every title? It sure appears that way. I was just going through some scans and found a few more Gold Key(s).
  13. Yeah, me too, Hawk. Nice vibrant colors. That was the 1st X-book I ever picked-up. I stayed with it through Kirby's tenure, and quickly lost interest when he began to only provide the lay-outs.
  14. I was fortunate again to have as a friend the owner of my local comics shop. He was told the copies he purchased were file copies. I believe it, as they showed no signs of stress marks, creasing, etc.
  15. I have considered that, Sharky. If and when I sell off my collection. For now, I'm content with them being unslabbed.
  16. A favorite cover from "The War that Time Forgot."
  17. I few more Solars. I don't think these 2 have been represented. # 3 and # 17 respectively.
  18. That is a very nice copy of ish 17, Bronze. Here's a few more Spidey's from my collection. Clearly, I need to get off my heiny, and re-scan some of these.
  19. Those are sweet copies of Doctor Solar, Hepcat. The good doctor is one of the few non-Marvel comics I collected back-in-the-day. Let me upload a few scans and join this party!
