  1. I think these were the only Bakers I ever found for $4...
  2. Lots of Warren books in today. Let's start with the couple of oddballs.
  3. Two more issues of Rip Off Comix in today. This gives me the 1-12 run, and for now at least that's as far as I'm going with the title.
  4. Today's additions. The 223 is obviously just an upgrade, since it's one of the only two Murphy Anderson Atomic Knights covers I figured it deserved an upgrade from my previous quarter bin copy.
  5. I think most of us have the eratta you issued... add a zero to the end of every price.
  6. Thank you. I wonder if by illustrated edition they mean the Murder Mystery Monthly.
  7. I consider it $35 very well spent, that's for sure. Is there a source anywhere that describes the various printings of the early Avons?
  8. Today’s featured article on Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dime_Mystery_Magazine
  9. HRN is 40, not sure if that's a first or not. I have the impression Avon generally released the NN books in batches of 4, though.
  10. Actually, since I've now got the whole set in vintage (if not necessarily the earliest) editions, let's go ahead and show them off. All but "The Little Sister" are first Pocket (or, in the case of Playback, Cardinal) printings:
  11. I suspect this one may be the single Arkham House book where they most overestimated the demand... you can still find copies in the original publisher shrink wrap for around $15. But, I'm not going to say no to an Arkham House book I can get in new condition for $15!
  12. Only one paperback in today... but it is, if not a huge pickup, at least a fairly big one.
  13. First Buck Rogers. Probably the single most valuable science fiction pulp, although I haven’t done a thorough comparison.
  14. Been there, done that... Having this unexpectedly delayed several days was terrifying:
  15. My first reaction is “PM me with prices”, particularly the 21… a nicely presenting copy with popped staples is right in my wheelhouse. My slightly more serious response is “hold until you find upgrades, given how scarce some of them are.” THEN pm me with prices!
  16. I don’t think anyone who knows me would argue with that assessment
  17. Now that you suggest it, I might pay $30 or so to get a red label book just to have an example of one, but what I would really be buying is the slab, not the contents.
