  1. Here's the page for the Archie's One Way 59c variant at the GCD. Barney Bear is still waiting for approval of the cover. https://www.comics.org/issue/2427399/
  2. Thank you. The additions are just waiting for approval at the GCD now.
  3. So why don't you add them to the GCD? Or would you like me to? If so, do I have permission to use your images on the GCD?
  4. I only saw the thread today, though. Better late than never?
  5. I remember them being in a diner in Ellensburg, WA when we drove over the mountains to see my grandparents in the 70's. Pretty sure they were the only comics on the rack, but it wasn't a Christian bookstore as such.
  6. I very specifically did not, and the reason I asked is we can actually use the name MR. Tracy on the forums properly. With that said, I think you made the correct choice going with Richard in this case. Edit: And now it's back to auto changing the name, apparently, but not to *spoon*... although it didn't change back my original post.
  7. Congratulations! Welcome to the club! You have a much nicer set of membership cards than mine, by the way...
  8. He is about as close to it as anybody who didn't work on them can be. He did do this, I have to give at least half credit for working on a Kurtzman edited issue of Two-Fisted Tales... even if Dark Horse was the actual publisher, licencing the EC name:
  9. Is this the only other mag with a Satana cover? I think so but not positive...
  10. I think I got all my HELP! run at under $50, mostly well under other than the #1. The problem is just finding the darn things in the first place. Kurtzman had a knack for titles that wind up being hard to search for in search engines. Mad, Trump, Help...
  11. I was going to say my copy's not that great, but then I looked and realized my copy of that issue is actually pretty nice...
  12. I wouldn't call most of them particularly dark, but they definitely can be a bit darker than the movie. I pretty much learned to read from them when I was very young, still love them.
  13. Congrats on the pickups! The offer of a couple very low grade HELP!s is still out there if you ever want to take me up on it. Comix International #3 is the one I need as well, but want to upgrade my #4. If I can find a nicer copy of the 3 Corben story version of #4 I'll call my beat up 2 Corben story copy good enough, but I would like at least one of the two to look nice... or at least better than the #4 I currently have.
  14. Even if @MattTheDuck got all of the possible ones, I'm still curious if any of them were Reilly & Britton. I think I have to pass on the Kabumpo for now, my budget is too tight after Emerald City Comic Con. If you still have it in two weeks let me know, though!
  15. A small request: Does anybody here have any of the Dick Tracy Four Colors that they could show off?
  16. Oh, the color plates ended around 1935. Silver Princess and Handy Mandy never had plates.
  17. Kabumpo should have 12 color plates, the first one being a frontispiece. You showed a color plate in the Scarecrow, that's what I'm talking about.
  18. A couple questions: Are any of the books Reilly & Britton, or are they all Reilly & Lee? Does the Kabumpo in Oz have the color plates? Regardless of the answers...
  19. Very nice additions! I found those hard to get just because so many dealers didn't bother specifying which of the two covers were used, just that they were by Steranko.
  20. One more Duck from ECCC this weekend
  21. Technically the 1114 is redundant, since I have the Dell bound file copy book of 1105-1116. But for $2 I figured getting an unbound, untrimmed copy was possibly worthwhile.
