  1. Bedsheets are normally factory trimmed as issued. Which doesn’t change the fact the edges aren’t all shown in the picture is worrisome.
  2. A trick that was used more than once. Alex Schomburg art:
  3. I will never, ever get tired of the idea that Kirby drew Conan & Elric once.
  4. Jan 35 is one of the ones I'm missing, unfortunately... 7 of my 10 missing issues are 1935.
  5. Well, if we're showing Arlington collection books...
  6. Which months? I’ve got all but 10 or 11 issues of the title and might be able to check against my copy.
  7. He had a story in Epic Illustrated #34. It's creator owned, but it was still done for Marvel US. He even gets his name on the cover:
  8. In today. Definitely not high grade, but it looks better in person. 22 Warren issues to go, including the Annual and Special:

  13. Found in my storage unit today. I've got 5 and 6 as well, but they don't have Moore stories:
  14. John G. Fantucchio pedigree copy. Sadly, the centerfold is detached. But I got it for a song because of that, and it looks incredible still:
  15. Why I was happy to find a copy, even with the corner crease.
  16. Did Hughes & Stevens only ever do the one cover together? Sadly, I don't think it's either of their best work...
  17. I've found the star is less common on the MJ books as we get into the later 80's, so "usually" is perhaps a bit strong. But certainly common. Also, just noted to my amusement that there's a jewelry story on the cover of the issue. That seems fitting...
  18. And, while we're on the subject of the Stargrazers, remember Hughes did the first TPB cover as well:
  19. I should try and stitch together scans of the whole covers on those, they're wraparound. I could get about 80% of the image to fit on my scanner, the image only covers half the back cover. And of course he's doing the Dave thing, since Stevens did the original Stargrazers cover:
