  1. Just got this one, what makes it interesting is that, while the material was all reprint, this was the second and final printing for all but one of the stories. The rest were never included in any of Ellison's collections or reprinted elsewhere. So this is essentially a never reprinted Ellison book.
  2. Lots of issues here, even after the recent DC takedown request: https://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php?cid=67
  3. Really hard to be sure with the grainy photo, but it does look like the lower right corner might have a chip out like the copy I have. Amazing find, thank you for tracking it down!
  4. Given how haphazard the striping looks, I'm guessing that it was something they were trying in production that somehow slipped through that they didn't mean to. Is one version more common?
  5. It's Willie the Worm from Fawcett's Funny Animals. No idea beyond that, sorry.
  6. Given what the book is going for, I'm sure you'll find somebody who wants it if you don't so they can say they have a copy. It looks better than a lot of remaindered books I've seen.
  7. I have nothing useful to add to the discussion... but I gotta say, what an awesome discovery!
  8. I recently got this book, for some reason the name of the previous owner sounds familiar. Does anybody know anything about them?
  9. They're already partly backtracking; now they're saying that there will be one issue with all new material each year. I get the definite impression they weren't expecting the news to hit this big.
  10. Robert Heinlein to Lyle Monroe (A.K.A. Robert Heinlein)
  11. I can't double match, but let's stick with StJ one more round:
  12. And I looked at my complete new testament edition, assuming they didn't dramatically edit the issues when they collected them... that scene is on the cover but not in the actual book.
