  1. Well, at least you understand your addiction! And much obliged on leaving me something.
  2. I was wondering where you'd gone. And E.C.s - they're overrated. Stick to Bakers.
  3. That had your name all over it!! Congrats on the pick up!! Am I that predictable? J/K! Thanks Max.
  4. First Heritage, and now CGC have discovered London. Will Metro open up an office in the Smoke as well?
  5. I'm not in the club and rather fed up with that status. Awesome book.
  6. Let's face it, most in demand GA covers feature similar scenarios, especially when they're drawn by Alex Schomburg (but by no means only him). The difference being that Suspense 3 was first, although certain pulp covers would've been an influence. All that's required apart from a damsel in a flimsy dress in bondage in a pit of some kind (or a glass tube) being rescued in the nick of time by the hero from snakes, fire, swords, axes, hypodermic needles (usually wielded by mad scientists or dwarfs) etc. is the presence of hooded Nazis or secret society goons and perhaps some other indistinct weirdos and the obligatory executioner added for local colour. Hitler with an oversized green head optional, of course. And voila, the poor man's Suspense 3. Don't get me wrong, I love all that stuff. I definitely want every single variation of that theme ever printed in the GA, including that icon book.
  7. I'm a bit old school in terms of this corner of the market, having collected pre-code horror for the last 15 years (you can thank an article in CBM for that). The odd pre-code book I deferred picking up back in the day that subsequently spiked to such a level has prevented me from completing sets, like COC 19. You never know which book will suddenly attain icon status...
  8. I remember buying a copy of that book in about the same shape from eBay a few years back for $45. The PCH market continues to explode. Some of the minor publishers that were overlooked for years are suddenly being noticed.
  9. Roger is an easy person to do business with and a credit to the boards, as everyone knows anyway! Packed and shipped two books extremely well, easy to negotiate with! Recommended!
  10. Awesome book, Billy. I had no idea you had stashed away the odd quality bit of PCH...
