Great books, with #7 borrowing TTA 57's cover - also very interesting to learn about the Norwegian market for Marvels...I wasn't aware how serious it was. Learnt a bit of Norwegian there...

Fantastic. Never seen those before - an aspect of collecting I wasn't aware of. The cards remind me a little of the cigarette cards my dad and his younger brother used to collect (mainly early 20th century up until the 1950s). At one point that hobby was huge in the U.K., sadly on its way out now... Surprised there isn't a larger market for those.

I can imagine how it must be to have a hole in your want list suddenly go thru the roof. I feel for any pre-hero collectors who now have to climb that mountain! Practically given up getting a copy of TTA 13 and Mystery Tales 40 in an acceptable grade (VG and up) - it'll take time for me to adjust to the crazy prices those two books are fetching.

Bit late to the party re this thread (I know - how could I have missed it!), but I went ahead and read the whole thing - remarkable achievements, Frank - can't say I'm not a little envious. Also, you've gone one step beyond in terms of collecting every genre for certain years - I've generally been selective with the romance, western and oddball stuff. Bravo!
