  3. Who would spend $12,000 on a comic drawn by Frank Robbins? Not as bad as Liefeld. And he can draw feet. ...and the guy has one left arm and one right arm. ...and they are on the correct sides. You guys are insane. I'd rather look at Liefeld's art than that abomination any day. Oddly enough, Robbins was an adequate newspaper strip artist who borrowed heavily from his hero, Milton Canniff. His comic work is dreadful of course, but he's better than Liefeld. At least Robbins could do facial expressions.
  4. Ingels, along with Frazetta, was a major influence on Wrightson's work.

  7. (thumbs u I knew there were a bunch of price increases in the 70's (and a bunch more ever since). Yeah, '79-'81 saw a steady 10 cent rise each year. I thought that was the worst. I remember when prices started ramping up at the very beginning of the direct market. Worse though would be 1985 - 1988, when prices more than doubled from 75¢ to $1.75.
  8. Once you start putting stuff on top of boxes, or piling boxes on top of one another, then you cede control. Yes, I've been there.
  9. It's the board version of the Hotel California. You can check out but you can never leave. If I stick around until November next year (which I undoubtedly will) I'll have been here for ten years.
