Another baking hot day in the Smoke. Weird weather for the time of year. Gives Londoners something to talk about.

Still hooked on watching The Sweeney. Just watched the two spin-off films. The second one was better than the OTT first one. Great bit of nostalgia, from the days when bank robbers always had long hair, sideburns, and wore army surplus jackets and flared bright blue jeans. And wore stockings on their heads.

Very tough in high grade...at one point I was looking for a copy in 8.5 and above, didn't have much luck.

When I was there this Summer they referred to Americans as "Septics" ...mind you it was during a knee's up. You were under the table at the time, nobody really wanted to look to see what you were doing It was getting steamy in that gay pub that we wandered into at the end of the evening.
