  1. Scarcer certainly, but still not that hard to find unless it's in 9.0 and above.
  2. Not just a wonderful human being and wonderful owner of the Monterey copy of Hulk Annual 1, but a quality purveyor of four-color pamphlets. Big plus on all fronts.
  3. We're all trapped here, and there is no escape.
  4. I hope they do dock them points but I'm sure they won't. The FA is spineless. This time they will. I'm sure Warnock will take the setback with his usual grace, though.
  5. Is the man. I'm a big fan... Saw him live late 70s at the old Sweetwater in Redondo Beach... Now that is impressive. I've read several of his books (admittedly a long time ago).... that book he did with Crumb was excellent (the perfect match? Surprised they didn't do more.)
  6. I wouldn't bother with this thread again. Promises. Were made for us....
  7. This is an amazing cover! I wish they had more like these in the Whiz Comics line. I love me some in transit GA,and this cover is terrific.Congrats Bill. "in transit GA" I love it. (thumbs u Ok, so here is an IN HAND new addition that I am super stoked about I love me some Larsons Quite surreal, that cover. Must find me a copy.
  8. Exactly. Hulk was as mad as a hornet by this time in the fight, and couldn't budge Superman. If Supes wanted he could have squashed Hulk like a little green bug By all means, let's use a random panel from a comic book taken out of context to support our argument that Superman is stronger. How absurd - using comic book panels to bolster comic book arguments that are ultimately up to comic book writers. Yep. Renders the whole argument moot. Yup. It's like using the bible to settle an arguement about Christianity. Silly. Analogy fail.

  10. Great pictures, please post more. Wonder what the price was for that Superman 2 that guy was casually holding.
  11. Come on the Royals tonight!!! Promotion Push! Usually it's the team who comes 6th in the Championship who end up winning the play offs. I keep on forgetting you're a Forest fan. Best of luck with the play offs George, I'm betting that they'll do it.
  12. Bought a nice ASM 19 CGC 9.4, arrived very fast. Smooth transaction all round!
  13. That was in an alternate different crossover imaginary universe that has no bearing on reality.
  14. Exactly. Hulk was as mad as a hornet by this time in the fight, and couldn't budge Superman. If Supes wanted he could have squashed Hulk like a little green bug Hulk's the only one with limitless strength. Being that it's limitless there's no one that could be stronger. Superman, beaten to a pulp and "killed" by a scrub named Doomsday. Thor, knocked out and out strength-ed more times than anyone can count. When only one has a maximum strength that's not measurable, it's an easy choice. Superman was deliberately weakened by the writers of that story arc to make him more vulnerable and interesting. Prior to that debacle, Supes was invincible. Prior to being bald, I had hair. We all gotta play the cards we're dealt. I fail to see the analogy between your hair loss and Superman's ertswhile invincibility. And Supes was dealt infinite strength that could vanquish green musclebound simpletons and Norse demigods with nice hair.
