  1. I really enjoyed season 1. My dad and I binge watched it one day and we had a blast. I'm definitely looking forward to season 2.
  2. I agree. I've always thought that if they do get the rights back that they would introduce the FF into other films like what they did with Spidey. They could easily add the Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben going into space as a side story in a film, maybe have it as an easter egg in the background of a film and have the accident happen in the same movie or the next film that comes after. They could even make it a plot for say Captain Marvel's film. Maybe the shuttle they travel in gets saved by CM in her film and you can introduce the characters/actors in that action sequence. Then in the next Avengers film you can introduce them as the FF, powers and all. I think building them up through a few films and having them as side characters would show the audience that they are in good hands and introduce them as part of the MCU. It would definitely help get the bad taste out of the general audience's mouths this way and you get to build excitement for their solo movie while teasing the ever living out of Doctor Doom.
  3. Dropping October 5th. I'm definitely excited about this one. Looks like it might be a story so that has me even more intrigued.
  4. 1. Captain America Comics #1 2. Captain America #100 3. Avengers #4 4. Fantastic Four #5 5. Saga 19 RRP CGC 9.8 Double SS
  5. Was looking through some long boxes at my LCS this evening and came across a bunch of back issues. High 20s up to around the 70s with skipping some in between. Most were marked around $20 with a few around $30 and I saw 33, first print I'm pretty sure, for $60 in there, too. Didn't really see anything I would consider a 9.8, newb at grading, with most issues having around 5 or so spine ticks that didn't break color. Been thinking about heading back down there on Friday and going through all of them and seeing if I could work out something with them for them all. It seems like there was around 20 issues or so. Also found another stash that had issues around 105 up to current.
  6. What's the future like? Apparently the future has some sick art. That it does. That is bad .
  7. I've never read the book but I've been wanting to pick up the trades and see if I'd enjoy it. Sorry to those that enjoy it and hate to see it end.
  8. More of the figures will be on the store in August when Skybound gets the rest of their shipment.
  9. Mine was in Los Angeles on the 14th with a scheduled delivery of the 18th. No package come and the USPS site just updated and says the package is delayed and won't make it by the estimated delivery date, duh. Still no update on when it will be delivered. This sucks and shipping was so expensive from Skybound, too.
  10. Man, I wish Brian and Fiona was going to be at SDCC so someone on here could get these signed because I'd definitely buy one of each. I'm going to anyway but I'd like to get the statue and figures signed.
  11. Purchased a Saga #7 Ghost variant from this fine fella and it arrived as described and packed strong enough to resist a bomb blast! Buying from MustEatBrains comes highly recommended!
  12. Yelp, screenshots from the PMs would settle this.
  13. Because so many people have tried to help him - for naught. But you're right, Gabriel is gonna do what he is gonna do and expecting him to follow our advice is clearly pointless. I don't follow all the advice I get like giving this up I'm not doing that and if I get stuck and I don't know what to do I either ask or check here. It isn't about following past advice. That is up to you but now you are in an entirely different set of circumstances. You need to give up buying and trading comic books because you can't afford to do it anymore. It is very selfish of you to get welfare but continue mismanaging money, money coming in that is to assist you in finding a new job and to live, not to spend on hobbies or pipe dreams. It seems your bridges are being burned pretty quickly and you won't have anyone here trying to give you advice if that keeps up.
  14. I sold a few of my bigger comics and wanted to buy some this time at a better price unlike the other times. That doesn't matter. DON"T BUY COMIC BOOKS! Don't trade, don't buy, only sell. Don't try to flip more books. A ton of people are trying to help you here but you keep doing what you want to do. Why don't you just tell everyone here thanks for the advice but I'm going to do my own thing? It would save people that want to help you out a lot of time. This is because I'm on welfare right? If I were off it you wouldn't care? I am selling off my biggest comics I have a few more big ones to sell before I sell off my 5-10 and 1-2 dollar comics. I do listen to other people's advice or I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have my two biggest things that are getting in the way are a lack of a job and that I'm on welfare. If you had a job no one here would reject your ideas and decisions. You currently have no job and you are living off welfare. You should be doing everything possible to find a job. I know you say you are but you need to take all money coming in and put into bills, food, utilities, travel expenses and new clothes that relate to anything job related even if that means making yourself more presentable for an interview. Comic books should be the last thing on your mind. The #1 thing you should NOT be doing is buying more comic books or trading because with trading you still are paying to ship stuff unless it is local. You should stop immediately. Living off welfare should embarrass you. I'm not saying that as an insult or to be offensive to you or anyone here who is on welfare but it is the truth IMO. I had to live off welfare for a short time when I made a few bad decisions and decided to skip out on work too many days on a very, very well paying job and I got fired for it. Not only was that embarrassing but I had to signup on welfare and that was a total wakeup call. I got depressed and had lost my job, later on I lost my fiancé because she got tired to dealing with my pitiful ways, I lost it all. I knew I screwed up and made bad choices. I worked on myself but some of those loses still haunt me to this day. I searched like crazy to find a job and I finally found one working at a grocery store. To me, that was embarrassing too. Coming from one of the highest paying jobs in my area to a bag boy (no offense to bag boys because work is work) but to me that was where I started out in high school and then, at 24 years-old I was back to my starting point but at least I was off welfare. The dumbest thing you can do right now is continue buying and trading comic books. I'm not sure how old you are but it is time to grow up. Stop worrying about making a million dollars buying and selling a comic. You have real life issues to work through first before going after a fantasy. Change your ways, change your life, get your feet set and life headed in the right path. Sell every book you have unless it is something you truly treasure and forget about comic books for a long time. You got a lot of things that you have to work on before dealing with a hobby.

  16. That trailer is amazing! March 18th can't come soon enough!
  17. I picked up a few books within the past week or so. Let's see. Saga CGC 9.8 copies of 1 (SS Vaughn and Staples), 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 32, and 33. All have been purchased but the majority of them are in the shipping phase.
  18. Thanks again dscott for putting together that deal for the community. I can't wait to get my Lying Cat.
