  1. I must be in the minority. I'm a collector, so 9.6 is one of the best places for me to buy. I get the book I want that looks great at a fraction of the cost of a 9.8.
  2. Bought a CGC EC book from Todd very happy all around, thank you.
  3. Purchased this Shadow at a Comic / Flee Market / Palm Reader show at a horse track... Have not read yet, but will.
  4. Won this in the last C Link auction. Glad to have it in my collection. It went for a reasonable price IMO.
  5. Wonderful collection. I was able to purchase a few books from Carl some time ago at a local Rochester NY VFW show. 2 Crime does not pay, and some early Kirby / Simon Romance. The books I found were is really nice shape - they are treasured for sure.
  6. Just finished The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore. Very much enjoyed this historical look into the making of Wonder Woman. Highly recommended.
  7. Thanks for your feedback. any opinions on the green/brown that is now missing from the 3.0 book? Could that have been done by pressing?
  8. In the Comic Link auction that just ended last week, a Cap #NN 128 pager just sold. It looks like the same book that was previously sold by Comic Link - check the markings. The "9" by the 0.25 cover price, same exact muddy date stamp, chip between the A and the P, and cover tears down the right side of the book. Was there some restorative work was done by filling by the machine gun. The bottom left edge of the book also looks to be improved. Can someone explain this? What am I missing here? This 2.5 sold some time ago on Comic Link. This was just sold this past week on Comic link. There is color loss on the soldiers in the bottom left, but the red chip by the machine gun is filled in, or was this chip folded over when CGC encapsulated it the 1st time? Did pressing take some of the color? How did the edge of the bottom left improve? Thank you for any feedback here.
  9. Amazing Spider-Man #2 CGC 9.0 $19K is this the typical going rate on this book???

  13. Here is my contribution. I have been looking for one in higher grade for some time. Weird book - sometime is goes very hi $, sometimes not. Mine is a tweener.

  15. To continue the skull theme, received this in the mail today!
  16. Found these at a LCS for cover price. They are both in very nice shape. The Sensation Comics cover is my favorite - the interiors are horrible imo....
  17. 9.4...am I missing something? Saw this on eBay. This book is graded at 9.4 with numerous spine breaks and soft corners. Is this typical or one that just slipped by somehow?
  18. WoW! What a great week this has been. The mail person has been good! Nicely centered with a very clean spine (even Spine Chilling......)
